As a Software Developer at Nexus Point, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that serve as the backbone of our client applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and system architects, to translate business requirements into efficient, scalable code. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and performance of our platforms, ensuring that our users experience seamless interactions and high-speed data processing across all integrated services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and implement high-performance backend services using Java to ensure system stability and scalability for our enterprise clients.
- Design and optimize complex algorithms and data structures to improve the processing speed and memory efficiency of our core applications.
- Develop and maintain secure RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between internal services and external client platforms.
- Manage the end-to-end deployment lifecycle by integrating CI/CD pipelines to accelerate release cycles and maintain high code quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to conduct rigorous code reviews and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in Java development with a deep understanding of object-oriented design principles and multithreading.
- Strong proficiency in implementing advanced algorithms and data structures to solve real-world computational problems.
- Proven ability to design and consume RESTful web services within distributed system architectures.
- Experience in configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment workflows.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a remote-first environment, maintaining high levels of productivity and proactive communication across distributed teams.
- Candidates must possess 2 to 9 years of relevant software development experience in building enterprise-grade applications.
