You'll play a key role in designing, building and supporting modern platforms used by our research and engineering teams.\nWhat You'll Do\nEngineer and support Linux-based infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.\nManage virtualisation, container platforms and storage technologies.\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.\nAutomate operational processes using tools such as Terraform, Ansible and scripting languages.\nImplement platform security, RBAC, secrets management and monitoring solutions.\nTroubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide expert technical support.\nCollaborate with security researchers, engineers and operational teams to deliver reliable, scalable platforms.\nAbout You\nWhat You'll Bring\nStrong Azure platform engineering experience.\nExpertise in Docker, Kubernetes, virtualisation and cloud technologies (particularly Azure).\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code, automation and CI/CD pipelines.\nKnowledge of enterprise technologies such as Citrix, monitoring and observability tools.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills.\nDesirable\nExperience with OpenStack.\nUnderstanding of telecoms technologies, including 4G, 5G, RAN or broadband networks.\nExperience working in secure or research-led environments.\nIf you're passionate about Linux, automation and Azure infrastructure, and want your work to have national impact, we'd love to hear from you.\nFlexible Working\nSuccessful applicants will be expected to attend our Birmingham office a minimum of two days per week.
