The successful candidate will monitor customer internet services, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to resolve network incidents promptly.\n\nThe role also involves configuring networking equipment, providing technical support to ISP clients, and assisting with connectivity solution proposals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical troubleshooting skills, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering reliable customer support.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nThe Network Support Technician will:\n\nLiaise with Internet Service Providers during outages, fibre cuts, and other service disruptions.\n\nFollow up with service providers to obtain incident updates and confirm expected service restoration timelines.\n\nRequest quotations from service providers for client connectivity solutions.\n\nConfigure routers, access points, and other networking equipment to support reliable connectivity.\n\nServe as the first point of contact for ISP clients reporting connectivity issues.\n\nPerform first-level troubleshooting for ISP clients and escalate unresolved issues to the relevant service providers.\n\nEducational Requirements\n\nDiploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.\n\nProfessional certifications such as MikroTik, CCNA, or equivalent will be an advantage.\n\nExperience\n\nMinimum of three years’ experience in network support, ISP operations, or technical support.\n\nPractical experience configuring routers and access points and troubleshooting internet connectivity issues.\n\nSkills and Competencies\nThe ideal candidate will demonstrate:\n\nStrong understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts.\n\nKnowledge of network connectivity diagnostics.\n\nAbility to troubleshoot network issues remotely.\n\nGood communication and coordination skills.\n\nStrong customer support skills and a
