Working across finance, payroll, credit control, procurement and legal, you’ll collaborate with experienced professionals and business leaders to provide the insights, controls and services that keep the organisation running effectively. It’s an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, work across a diverse range of disciplines and contribute to the success of both our people and our clients.\nBring your expertise to our team as an Assistant Accountant supporting the global finance department by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks such as preparing invoices for customers, processing supplier invoices, reconciling Balance Sheet accounts, and completing basic bookkeeping and accounting duties as required.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nProcess monthly billing to customers and employee expense claims.\n\nParticipate in the month end process to ensure accruals and information is delivered on time.\n\nCredit Note, Payment Posting, Unapplied Payments, Uninvoiced Transactions, Contract in Oracle.\n\nOther Ad-hoc task upon request (burndown; SOA; Bank Form completion; Time Card Summary).\n\nOvertime Approvals - validate consultant’s OT and secure AD’s approval and the said reason of OT.\n\nCredit Note Register - Process Credit Notes and ensure proper documentation is being noted on the account/transaction specifics.\n\nUninvoiced Report - weekly checking/running of Uninvoiced Report in Oracle to ensure all transaction due for invoicing is billed on a timely manner.\n\nFixed Price Register - update and ensure Fixed Price billing is being handled accordingly.\n\nWork with the Financial Accountant to ensure month end deadlines are adhered to.\n\nEnsure that general housekeeping of files and filing is maintained\n\nDebtors Reports - ensures that the aging accounts on the debtor’s report are being taken care of and necessary action are being done.\n\nCustomer Record Maintenance (Site details in Oracle) - ensure an updated record is always on file for a smoother billing process.\n\nSKILLS & EXPERIENCE\n5+ years' experience in a similar role within a professional services organization\n\nDegree level qualification in Accounting\n\nOracle Financials experience or similar Accounting Systems highly desirable\n\nMicrosoft Office (intermediate)\n\nStrong problem-solving skills\n\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills\n\nAbility to interpret data and identify information from monthly trends\n\nHigh attention to detail, and focus on integrity of data\n\nWillingness to accept new learning challenges with can do approach to learning.\n\nWHY YOU’LL LOVE WORKING AT NRI\nAt NRI, we believe great careers are built through solving complex challenges, continuous growth and the opportunity to make an impact.
