will be required to demonstrate a breadth of experience working in a testing / quality engineering role, including the day-to-day activities of this job - test analysis and improvement, design and review, execution, defect management, reporting, leading small teams, contributing to planning and estimation, etc.\n Review requirements for testability\nContribute to test plans and other high level documentation where required\nCollaborate with clients for user and systems requirements when documentation is insufficient\nIdentify test conditions/ test objectives and derive test cases using advanced test techniques\nIdentify and apply tools to assist with the acceleration of quality\nCreate comprehensive test assets in the appropriate tools relevant to test conditions\nUtilise appropriate tools to execute test cases and report results\nRaise, track and close defects\nSet up a defect lifecycle process when required\nReport results as required to managers across the business\nCapable of working with Agile methodologies, collaborating with and across teams as required\nEssential Skills and Experience:\nExperienced in traditional, iterative or Agile development practices\nAbility to work collaboratively with developers and other project members\nPossess in-depth experience as a senior test engineer in all areas of the SDLC\nOutstanding verbal and written communication skills\nStrong test experience in all areas of the SDLC, including system, SIT or UAT\nCollaborating with developers, business analysts and users to understand testing needs and identify automation opportunities\nContribute to the continuous improvement of test quality by undertaking reviews and recommending improvements\nPossess a solid understanding of modern application deployment methodologies and cloud infrastructure\nCan effectively adapt to workload and issues to maintain
