As markets evolve, we continue to adapt and innovate while maintaining our commitment to reliability, quality, and customer trust.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Operations Supervisor oversees daily hose manufacturing operations, ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. This position plays a critical leadership role in ensuring accurate inventory handling, timely material preparation, and compliance with safety and quality standards. The Supervisor will lead a team of operators, and to support the custom production of high-performance rubber hoses for the agriculture, aerospace, and oil and gas industries.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupervisory & Leadership Duties:\nProduction and scheduling\nDirect daily production across the flexible mandrel hose manufacturing process, from material preparation through finished hose. \nAssign employees to work orders and coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to meet production schedules. \nMonitor production output, work in process, and order status; communicate delays and adjust priorities as needed. \nCoordinate changeovers and ensure the correct mandrels, tooling, compounds, reinforcement materials, and specifications are available before each run. \nProcess and quality\nVerify that hose is built to the applicable work orders and specifications at each stage of production. \nOversee mandrel preparation and use, tube extrusion, reinforcement, cover application, wrapping, curing, stripping, testing, and finishing, as applicable to the department. \nMonitor process conditions and address defects, scrap, and rework with employees and Quality. \nEnsure required inspections, tests, and production records are completed accurately. \nSegregate nonconforming product and work with Quality on its disposition and corrective actions. \nPeople and safety\nTrain employees on equipment operation, standard work, product requirements, and safe handling practices. \nAssign work, provide coaching and performance feedback, and develop cross-training to maintain coverage. \nEnforce PPE, machine guarding, lockout/tagout, and other company safety procedures. \nInspect work areas for hazards and maintain clean, organized production and material storage areas. \nEquipment, materials, and reporting\nIdentify equipment problems, submit maintenance requests, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime. \nMonitor material use and availability;
