Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities\nto perform the essential functions.\nHigh school graduate or equivalent required.\nValid Alaska Driver’s License required.\nPublic Management certified preferred.\nFive years of supervisory experience required.\nBoiler maintenance and troubleshooting experience required.\nPool certification required.\nFive years construction trades or facilities maintenance management required.\nBasic Computer Skills - including MS Word, MS Excel, Email, etc. preferred\nPreference:\nInupiaq speaking and cultural experience preferred.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nEnsure District facilities are accessible for educational, administrative and community use.\nMonitor, maintain, operate, and troubleshoot all systems in the facilities.\nSchedule, implement, and supervise work programs for maintenance of the facilities.\nSubmit project progress, daily work logs, inventories, monthly activity reports when required.\nPLANT MANAGER\nAdhere to state and federal structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire codes.\nImplement, schedule, and maintain all safety and mandated programs for District facilities.\nAttend District training as required.\nAdhere to all District policies and regulations.\nPerform such other tasks and assume other responsibilities as the supervisor may assign.\nPhysical Requirements\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee\nto successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
