The Procurement Manager will support the Head of Procurement and Commercial Services to lead, manage and develop the procurement team and the relationships with internal / external stakeholders, OEMs, Cisco, Dell, Aruba, and HP is a plus.\nResponsibilities\nInitial engagement with sales, presales and delivery to shape deal structure for kit, support and partner-based RFP’s/Bids\nSet up a strategic sourcing process to ensure that all vendor evaluations follow a standard procedure\nImplement and Run the RFI and RFP process with the vendors\nProvide standard contract templates for products and services purchases.\nWork with supplier legal to negotiate contracts\nDeliver savings target and report validated savings weekly*\nSet up and implement Contract & Vendor Management (CVM) process\nComplete 12 CVM reviews per quarter*\nDevelop and leverage close relationships with CAM's and key suppliers and partners*\nExploit OEM and Supplier discount programmes to optimise saving\nManage the international buyer team\n\nQualifications\n+5 years’ experience in an IT reseller, OEM or distribution environment\nExtensive Supplier relationship management experience\nResponding and supporting customer Bid, RFI and RFP processes\nCommercial/contract negotiation\nInfluence decision-maker\nBuilding strong and effective business partnerships (internally and externally)\nFocus on complex single/multiple commercial projects with varying degrees of value and will require experience in managing engagement from initiation to delivery.\nEffective engagement with Executive and Senior management\nExcellent communication and presentation skills\nExperience of Microsoft applications Excel/Word/Power Point\nCan do / will do
