endpoint estate as the company scales rapidly across countries, offices and remote teams.\nThis role sits within the Technology Operations Platforms team and is focused on the engineering, configuration and continuous improvement of our endpoint-management capability across Windows, macOS, mobile and BYOD environments.\nYou’ll work closely with Technology Operations teams, Information Security and external device partners to ensure Nscale employees receive secure, reliable and well-managed devices from day one.\nYou’ll also have the opportunity to broaden your endpoint engineering scope, build expertise across platforms and take on increasing ownership as Nscale grows.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nEndpoint Strategy and Standards\nEndpoint Strategy and Standards\nImplement and maintain endpoint standards for Windows, macOS, mobile and BYOD environments.\nDefine standard builds, configuration baselines, compliance requirements and lifecycle processes.\nMaintain the device catalogue, including standard, engineering and executive device options.\nContribute to the endpoint roadmap across MDM, EDR, patching, compliance and automation.\nEnsure endpoint standards meet global-scale, security and employee-experience requirements.\nEndpoint Management\nEndpoint Management\nConfigure and manage endpoint-management platforms such as JumpCloud, Intune, Jamf or Kandji.\nWith Information Security, build and maintain policies for encryption, screen lock, patching, updates, local admin, software deployment and compliance.\nManage device groups, deployment rings and regional targeting.\nTroubleshoot endpoint-management issues and handle escalations from Technology Operations teams.\nMaintain clear documentation for endpoint policies, processes and configuration standards.\nProvisioning and Lifecycle\nProvisioning and Lifecycle\nEngineer and improve device provisioning, enrolment and deployment workflows.\nEnable zero-touch or low-touch deployment for new joiners and replacement devices.\nWork with device suppliers and logistics partners to improve procurement, stock, shipping and return processes.\nDefine processes for refresh, repairs, reallocation and secure disposal.\nMaintain accurate asset data and integration with ITSM or asset-management platforms.\nSecurity and Compliance\nSecurity and Compliance\nImplement endpoint controls required for security and compliance, including encryption, EDR, patching and vulnerability remediation.\nWork with Information Security on endpoint hardening, local admin removal, BYOD, MAM and compliance requirements.\nCoordinate audit evidence collection for SOC 2, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus and SOX.\nInvestigate and remediate non-compliant devices.\nEnsure endpoint changes follow agreed change-management and security-review processes.\nAutomation and Continuous Improvement\nAutomation and Continuous Improvement\nAutomate repetitive endpoint tasks using scripts, platform-native automation or workflow tooling.\nImprove onboarding, offboarding, software deployment, reporting and compliance workflows.\nBuild dashboards and reports for endpoint health, compliance, inventory and lifecycle status.\nIdentify recurring endpoint issues and implement platform-level fixes.\nTest and roll out new endpoint capabilities in controlled rings.\nCross-Functional Enablement\nCross-Functional Enablement\nProvide clear guidance and escalation paths to Technology Operations teams.\nCreate technical documentation, runbooks and troubleshooting guides.\nWork with Procurement and suppliers on hardware standards, availability and warranty processes.\nPartner with People and JML process owners to improve new-joiner readiness.\nCommunicate endpoint changes clearly to relevant teams and affected users.\nRequired Experience and Skills\n5+ years’ experience in endpoint engineering, device management, systems administration or technology operations.\nStrong hands-on experience managing Windows and macOS devices.\nExperience with endpoint-management platforms such as JumpCloud, Intune, Jamf or Kandji.\nExperience configuring device policies, software deployment, patching, encryption and compliance controls.\nGood knowledge of identity, SSO, MFA and joiner, mover and leaver processes.\nExperience with EDR, antivirus or endpoint-security tooling.\nScripting experience using PowerShell, Bash or Python.\nStrong troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.\nAbility to work effectively with Technology Operations, security, procurement and supplier teams.\nHighly Desirable\nExperience in a fast-growing, international organisation.\nExperience with device procurement, logistics, asset management and hardware lifecycle processes.\nExperience with Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Kandji, JumpCloud or Apple Business Manager.\nExposure to BYOD, MAM and mobile-device-management strategies.\nExperience with Windows Autopilot, Apple Automated Device Enrolment or zero-touch deployment.\nFamiliarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus or SOX requirements.\nExperience building endpoint reporting, dashboards
