If you join our team, you’ll be contributing to building the technology that powers the future.\nAbout the Role \nWe are looking for an FP&A Manager to support Corporate FP&A, performance management, and business partnering across Nscale’s global functions and strategic initiatives. Based in the US, the role will work closely with senior stakeholders across multiple locations and with the FP&A leadership team to improve decision-making, financial discipline, planning cycles, and forecast accuracy in a fast-scaling global business.\nThis is a high-ownership role rather than a pure reporting or consolidation position. You will take responsibility for planning, forecasting, performance insight, and business partnering across an evolving portfolio, with scope adjusted over time to reflect business priorities, team structure, and individual strengths.\nThe successful candidate will partner with senior functional leaders, contribute to executive and Board reporting, and lead or support high-priority cross-functional projects, including process and systems improvement, investment cases, post-acquisition integration, and other strategic initiatives.\nThis is an ideal opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership in a high-growth environment. You will combine strong financial fundamentals with curiosity and a proactive mindset to help shape business performance in a fast-scaling environment.\nWhat You'll Do\nPlanning, Forecasting & Decision Support\nBudget & Forecast Ownership: Own the budget and rolling forecast for an agreed portfolio of functions, including headcount, non-payroll costs, commitments, and key investment decisions.\nFinancial Modeling: Develop driver-based models and scenarios that support management decisions.\nProactive Risk Management: Challenge assumptions constructively and identify risks, opportunities, and actions early.\nBusiness Partnering\nStrategic Collaboration: Act as the primary finance partner to senior functional leaders, creating trusted relationships by providing commercial insight and constructive challenge.\nResource Allocation: Support decisions on resourcing, supplier commitments, operating expenditure, and investment priorities, with clear articulation of trade-offs and financial consequences.\nFinancial Governance: Help strengthen financial discipline and accountability across the business, including purchase-order governance, cost ownership, and forecast accuracy.\nPerformance Reporting & Insight\nPerformance Analysis: Lead monthly performance reporting for the portfolio, providing concise narrative on performance, drivers, forecast movements, decisions required, and forward-looking risks.\nKPI Frameworks: Support the development of KPIs and performance tracking frameworks.\nStrategic Finance, Data & Process Improvement\nCross-Functional Initiatives: Support high-priority cross-functional projects, which may include planning-process design, finance systems and reporting improvements, integration, and cost optimisation initiatives.\nData Usability: Improve the quality, structure, and usability of FP&A data across relevant systems and reporting tools, working effectively where data and processes are still evolving.\nScalable Operations: Establish scalable, pragmatic processes that reduce manual work while retaining appropriate financial control.\nAbout You\nEssential Skills & Qualifications\n4+ years of relevant post-qualification experience, or equivalent experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or strategic finance.\nDemonstrable experience owning an FP&A, commercial-finance, or business-partnering portfolio.\nStrong analytical and modelling skills, with hands-on experience using financial systems (e.g., NetSuite & Pigment).\nExperience partnering with senior non-finance leaders and challenging spend, headcount, and investment assumptions.\nAbility to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-finance stakeholders.\nExperience operating in a high-growth, fast-changing, or complex business environment.\nDemonstrated ability to create clarity from incomplete data and dynamic priorities.\nProactive mindset with a strong passion for continuous problem-solving.\nTakes full responsibility for driving outcomes and delivering results.\nExceptional attention to detail combined with the ability to step back and align with the bigger strategic picture.\nConfident and pragmatic stakeholder partner who builds trust and constructively challenges assumptions.\nMaintains high standards of output while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.\nWhat we can offer you\nAt Nscale, you'll find a collaborative, supportive, and innovative environment where your contributions spark real impact.
