This is an opportunity to join Nscale’s journey, play a key role in delivering transformative AI infrastructure, and help shape a company designed to scale rapidly across Europe and beyond.\nRole Overview\nWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee all mechanical system delivery for Nscale’s hyperscale data centre projects. You will manage the technical execution of mechanical packages from design coordination through construction, commissioning, and handover.\nThis owner-side role requires strong technical knowledge of cooling systems, HVAC, piping, and plant infrastructure. You will ensure mechanical works are designed, installed, and commissioned to meet Nscale’s safety, performance, and quality standards, while maintaining seamless integration with other building systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate and oversee all mechanical construction activities, ensuring works meet design intent, schedule, and technical standards.\nEnsure compliance with local electrical codes, statutory requirements, applicable standards, and HSE regulations relevant to the project location\nReview and validate design drawings, submittals, and technical documentation for constructability and compliance.\nManage on-site interfaces between mechanical systems and other disciplines (Electrical, Controls, CSA)\nMonitor and report on progress, identify risks, and support schedule recovery planning across all mechanical packages, ensuring visibility and alignment across the wider delivery team.\nOversee quality assurance, inspections, and testing throughout installation and commissioning phases.\nSupport integrated systems testing (IST) and ensure complete verification and documentation of mechanical systems.\nConduct regular coordination meetings with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to maintain alignment and resolve issues.\nPromote a culture of safety, technical excellence, and continuous improvement across all project activities.\nQualifications\n7+ years’ experience managing mechanical delivery, including within data centre or mission-critical projects.\nDegree or qualification in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, or a related field.\nStrong understanding of HVAC, liquid cooling, and mechanical controls (experience with AI/HPC data centers and cooling systems-including DTC, TCS, and CDU-is an advantage)\nProven experience in coordinating design, installation, and commissioning activities.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nFamiliar with project reporting and scheduling tools.\nFluent in English;
