Taking advantage of the region’s green energy resources, our facility relies on stable, round-the-clock monitoring to maintain maximum up time for our clients.\nAs a NOC Specialist, you are the first line of defense. You will be responsible for monitoring our network infrastructure, servers, and environmental systems in real-time. This is a technical, hands-on role where you will identify anomalies, troubleshoot initial issues, and escalate complex problems to senior engineers. If you love solving technical puzzles and want to be at the heart of data center operations, this role is for you.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nMonitor the health and performance of network infrastructure, servers, and critical data centre systems 24/7/365.\nRespond to alerts, investigate faults, and perform first-line troubleshooting to restore services quickly.\nEscalate complex network, infrastructure, and facility issues to senior engineers while providing accurate diagnostics and updates.\nMonitor environmental systems, including power, cooling, and Building Management System (BMS) alarms, to help maintain data centre resilience.\nLog, prioritise, and manage incidents through the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and clear documentation.\nPerform routine operational checks and follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and escalation processes.\nSupport shift handovers by documenting active incidents, maintenance activities, operational risks, and outstanding actions.\nWork closely with Network Engineering, Data Centre Operations, Facilities, and Security teams to support planned maintenance and operational activities.\nContribute to root cause investigations by collecting evidence and documenting incident timelines.\nIdentify opportunities to improve monitoring, reduce recurring issues, and enhance operational efficiency through process improvements and automation.\nMaintain accurate operational records, reports, and system documentation to support compliance and continuous improvement.\nDeliver excellent operational support while helping ensure high availability and uptime for customer environments.\nAbout You\nExperience & Education\nPractical Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a NOC, IT helpdesk, technical support, or data center environment.\n Education: Degree or vocational certificate in Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (relevant hands-on experience or certifications will also be highly considered).\n\nTechnical Skills\n Networking Fundamentals: Solid understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switches, routers, and firewalls).\n Monitoring & Systems: Familiarity with monitoring tools (such as Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, or SolarWinds) and ticketing systems (like Jira Service Management or ServiceNow).\nOS Knowledge: Basic comfort level working with Linux/Unix command lines and Windows Server environments.\n Certifications (A Plus): CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or ITIL Foundation certifications are highly advantageous.\n\nSoft Skills & Core Traits\nSituational Awareness: A high level of alertness and attention to detail-you notice when a metric looks slightly off.\nCalm Under Pressure: Ability to remain methodical and focused when multiple alerts go off simultaneously.\n Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination (Norwegian language skills are an asset for local site communication).\n Shift Flexibility: Comfortable working a flexible shift schedule (including nights, weekends, and holidays) to support our 24/7/365 operations.\nWhat We Can Offer You\nYou’ll have the opportunity to help shape the operating standards behind a next-generation AI cloud platform, working on complex infrastructure challenges with real ownership and impact.
