Within the Project Controls group, planning turns the master schedule into clear, near-term plans the field can execute.\nThe Planner supports the Project Controls team on assigned DCI projects by maintaining detailed work plans, short-interval look-aheads, and progress tracking. Working closely with site teams, contractors, and the Project Controls - Scheduling lead, this role keeps day-to-day planning accurate and aligned with the Integrated Master Schedule.\nKey Responsibilities\nLook-ahead planning: Prepare and maintain 2-, 3-, and 6-week look-ahead schedules with site teams and contractors, aligned with the Integrated Master Schedule.\nProgress tracking: Collect, validate, and record progress data from the field, including walkdowns, quantities installed, and milestone completion.\nSchedule support: Support the Scheduling lead with schedule updates, activity detail, logic checks, and coding in Primavera P6.\nConstraint management: Track constraints such as permits, materials, equipment deliveries, access, and design information, and help clear them before they affect work.\nCoordination: Attend and support coordination meetings with contractors and trades; record actions and follow up on commitments.\nCommissioning and handover: Help plan and track commissioning activities, system turnovers, and punch list close-out.\nReporting: Prepare progress charts, milestone trackers, and inputs to weekly and monthly project reports.\nData quality: Maintain accurate planning records and documentation in line with DCI project controls standards.\nQualifications\nRequired\n3-6 years of planning or scheduling experience on construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.\nWorking knowledge of Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling principles.\nComfortable working on active construction sites and engaging directly with contractors and trades.\nStrong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.\nProficiency in Excel and clear written and verbal communication.\nDegree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\nPreferred\nData center, power, or MEP construction experience.\nExposure to Last Planner System or lean construction methods.\nFamiliarity with commissioning and system turnover processes.\nInterest in progressing toward a senior scheduling or project controls role.\nCharacter & Conduct\n\nWhat We Value Most: Character & Conduct\nTechnical skills can be taught. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs.
