If you join our team, you’ll be contributing to building the technology that powers the future.\nAbout the Role\nWe’re hiring a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst - PTP to manage and optimize Accounts Payable activities across the Procure-to-Pay function.\nBased in Houston, Texas, this full-time role sits within Accounting and Reporting and works closely with procurement, finance, operational stakeholders, and suppliers. You’ll ensure invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time, vendor accounts are effectively managed, and activities comply with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.\nAs a senior member of the PTP team, you’ll provide guidance on complex AP matters and help improve systems, controls, and processes. Your work will support efficient end-to-end PTP operations and contribute to Nscale’s financial stability, compliance, and growth.\nWhat you'll be doing\nAccounts Payable operations\nOversee end-to-end Accounts Payable activities within the Procure-to-Pay process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.\nProcess and review supplier invoices in ERP and PTP systems, checking coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.\nPerform three-way matching across invoices, purchase orders, and receipts, resolving discrepancies as needed.\nInvestigate complex invoice issues involving pricing, quantities, tax treatment, or contractual terms.\nPayments and vendor management\nPrepare, review, and support payment runs in line with payment terms and internal controls.\nManage supplier inquiries, statement reconciliations, and vendor account issues.\nAct as a key point of contact for suppliers, procurement teams, and business stakeholders on AP matters.\nControls, compliance, and reporting\nMaintain compliance with internal accounting policies, audit requirements, US regulatory requirements, and Norwegian VAT regulations.\nSupport month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.\nApply sound financial judgment when reviewing transactions and resolving AP issues.\nProcess improvement and collaboration\nMonitor AP performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and turnaround times.\nContribute to automation, system enhancements, and process standardization across PTP operations.\nCollaborate with finance, procurement, and other business units to support smooth end-to-end processes.\nProvide guidance on complex AP matters and help the team manage priorities in a dynamic environment.\nKPIs\nInvoice-processing accuracy and turnaround time\nTimely, controlled payment runs\nVendor query and discrepancy resolution\nMonth-end reconciliation and reporting accuracy\nAbout You\n3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay operations, ideally in an international or shared-services environment.\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\nStrong experience with ERP systems and AP automation tools, such as NetSuite or similar financial systems.\nSolid understanding of purchase order-based invoicing, three-way matching, and end-to-end PTP processes.\nGood knowledge of Norwegian VAT regulations and financial compliance requirements.\nStrong analytical skills and the ability to investigate and resolve complex AP issues.\nExcellent attention to detail and a structured, organized approach to work.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.\nStrong communication and stakeholder-management skills.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other finance tools.\nWhat we can offer you\nAt Nscale, you'll find a collaborative, supportive, and innovative environment where your contributions spark real impact.
