As a Senior Low Voltage Deployment Engineer, you'll independently lead low-voltage delivery for one or more sites, translating design intent into safe, high-quality field execution and driving infrastructure from readiness through acceptance and turnover.\nYou'll lead contractors in the field, guide Low Voltage Deployment Engineers, and partner closely with project and engineering teams. This is a remote, US-based role with significant travel (50% or more), including extended onsite presence during active deployment phases.\nWhat You'll be Doing\nLow Voltage Delivery & Execution\nOwn low-voltage deployment execution for assigned sites from site readiness through installation, testing, acceptance, and turnover\nOversee fiber, copper, structured cabling, pathways, containment, patching, labeling, and associated infrastructure supporting high-density AI environments\nUse approved designs, LLDs, cable schedules, rack elevations, and Nscale standards to verify onsite implementation and resolve field discrepancies\nIdentify field blockers, dependencies, and readiness gaps and drive them to resolution\nVendor & Field Leadership\nServe as Nscale's technical and field lead for low-voltage contractors and integrators on assigned sites\nManage vendor performance across staffing, schedule, quality, productivity, testing, remediation, and deliverables\nLead onsite coordination and hold partners accountable to approved scope, milestones, and quality expectations\nGuide and support Low Voltage Deployment Engineers in the field\nTechnical Leadership & Quality\nContribute technical input to design, constructability, readiness, and deployment reviews\nLead QA/QC activities covering routing, labeling, polarity, fiber cleanliness, bend radius, cable management, termination, patching, and workmanship\nReview and approve fiber and copper test results and certification documentation, including OLTS and OTDR where required\nDrive punch-list remediation and final acceptance, and capture lessons learned and recurring issues\nProject & Cross-Functional Execution\nManage site-level schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies across concurrent low-voltage workstreams\nPartner with Network Infrastructure, Construction, AI Infrastructure Deployment, Engineering, Commissioning, Operations, and Supply Chain\nProvide clear status, risk, and escalation updates to project leads and stakeholders\nContribute to deployment methods, standards, checklists, and vendor requirements as the team scales\nAbout You\n6+ years of experience in low-voltage, structured cabling, network infrastructure, data center construction, deployment engineering, or a closely related field\nExperience leading field deployments and directing third-party vendors or contractors\nStrong working knowledge of fiber-optic and copper infrastructure, installation practices, testing, and quality requirements\nAbility to interpret LLDs, construction drawings, rack elevations, cable schedules, port maps, and technical deployment documentation\nExperience managing site schedules, risks, dependencies, punch lists, and cross-functional handoffs\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with field teams, engineers, project leaders, and vendors\nAbility and willingness to travel 50% or more, with extended onsite presence during active deployments\nYou'll thrive here if you are:\nA field leader who is comfortable owning execution where the work is happening\nA technical problem solver who can move between drawings, fiber testing, vendor execution, and project constraints\nAn owner who identifies gaps early and drives them through resolution\nA collaborator who builds alignment with vendors and partner teams\nA mentor who helps less experienced engineers raise their game\nNice to Have\nExperience in hyperscale, cloud, HPC, or AI data center environments\nBICSI certification (e.g., Installer/Technician or RCDD)\nWhy this role matters\nEvery GPU cluster Nscale delivers depends on the physical network underneath it.
