If you join our team, you'll be contributing to building the technology that powers the future.\nThe Role\nWe are looking for a Senior Manager, Internal Communications to lead communications for our Data Center Infrastructure organization, the team that designs, builds and operates Nscale's data centers.\nWorking in close partnership with the Data Center Infrastructure leadership team, you will develop a deep understanding of the organization's priorities, projects and major milestones. You will help leaders communicate clearly with a large, fast-growing and distributed workforce, and help the wider company understand what this organization is delivering.\nYou will sit within Nscale's internal communications team. Our team is small, senior and deliberately unstructured. You will own specific areas outright, contribute to areas your colleagues own, and support the company's needs as they evolve. The scope below is where we expect you to start, not where we expect you to stay. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role.\nWhat You'll Do\nData Center Infrastructure Narrative\nPartner with leaders across Data Center Infrastructure to understand the organization's strategy, priorities and key milestones\nDevelop a clear, consistent narrative for the organization and its role in Nscale's success\nTranslate complex technical, construction and operational work into clear stories for a broad employee audience\nIdentify the moments worth telling, and plan communications around them\nOrganization Communications\nAdvise Data Center Infrastructure leaders on how they communicate with their organization, including through periods of change\nDevelop communications that reach the organization's full workforce, including site-based and non-desk employees\nSupport organization-wide moments such as all-hands meetings, site milestones and leadership updates\nHandle sensitive and high-stakes communications with sound judgment and discretion\nCompany-Wide Communications\nShare the progress of Data Center Infrastructure with the wider company through Nscale's channels and company programming\nCollaborate with adjacent teams, including AI Infrastructure, so that related milestones are communicated in a coordinated way\nPartner with Corporate Communications so that internal and external messaging on data center projects stays aligned\nMeasurement & Insight\nTrack the impact of communications and use what you learn to improve\nShare insight from employees across the organization with business leaders\nWhat We're Looking For\nSignificant experience in internal or employee communications, ideally within a technology, infrastructure or high-growth business\nExperience communicating for an organization with physical operations, such as data centers, energy, construction, manufacturing or telecommunications\nExperience reaching frontline, field or non-desk-based employees\nTechnical fluency, with the ability to engage credibly with engineering and operations teams and explain complex work to a broad audience\nExperience partnering with senior business leaders and advising them on communications\nExceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex topics clear, engaging and relevant\nA practical, hands-on approach: comfortable building the plan and then doing the work yourself\nStrong project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities at pace\nComfort with ambiguity, shifting priorities and a scope that will change as we grow\nNice to have: experience in data centers, cloud or AI infrastructure; experience communicating across multiple countries and time zones.\nOur Commitment\nAt Nscale, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse and equitable workplace.
