This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our network systems, while also shaping the future of our network architecture.\nYou will operate as a key technical leader, partnering closely with infrastructure, platform, and systems teams to support mission-critical services and drive network strategy at scale. This position requires up to 50% travel to support global data center deployments, infrastructure initiatives, and operational activities.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead the design, deployment, and operation of large-scale network infrastructure across data center and cloud environments\n\nOwn critical network systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability\n\nDrive architecture decisions across routing, switching, and overlay networking (e.g., VXLAN, EVPN)\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex, cross-layer network issues impacting production systems\n\nDevelop and implement automation and tooling to improve reliability, observability, and operational efficiency\n\nEstablish and evolve network design standards, best practices, and operational processes\n\nPartner cross-functionally to deliver end-to-end infrastructure solutions\n\nMentor junior engineers and elevate the overall technical capability of the team\n\nParticipate in an on-call rotation while improving systems to reduce operational burden over time\n\nTravel up to 50% to support data center deployments, infrastructure implementation, vendor engagements, and cross-functional collaboration across global sites\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)\n\n8-10+ years of network engineering experience in large-scale environments (ISP, cloud, or similar)\n\nDeep expertise in network operations and production support at scale\n\nStrong understanding of core networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6)\n\nProven experience owning and operating critical network infrastructure\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to lead through complex technical challenges\n\nParticipate in an on-call rotation to support production systems\n\nAbility and willingness to travel up to 50%\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with high-performance networking technologies such as InfiniBand or RoCE\n\nStrong knowledge of VXLAN, EVPN, and modern data center networking architectures\n\nExperience with automation and scripting (Python or equivalent)\n\nFamiliarity with network observability, telemetry, and monitoring systems\n\nExperience with network modeling and programmability (YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF)\n\nExperience working with cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure environments\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical direction\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nA technical leader who can design and operate networks at scale\n\nA systems thinker who understands the interaction between networking, compute, and applications\n\nSomeone who takes ownership of critical infrastructure and drives improvements proactively\n\nA pragmatic engineer who balances reliability, performance, and speed in production environments\n\nA mentor who raises the bar for the team\n\nThe range below reflects the base salary for the position. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location.
