Acting as the primary security program representative, this role ensures security requirements are successfully integrated into project execution while coordinating operational readiness and transition into service.\nThe Physical Security TPM provides governance, stakeholder coordination, customer engagement, and program oversight while partnering closely with Construction, Security Operations, Network Engineering, Procurement, and Customer Security teams.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nServe as the regional program manager for physical security deployments.\nAct as the primary customer-facing security representative throughout project delivery.\nCoordinate security milestones across Design, Construction, Operations, Networking, Procurement, and Customer Security teams.\nEnsure customer contractual security requirements are achieved.\nMonitor project schedules, risks, dependencies, and security deliverables.\nCoordinate operational readiness and transition from construction into operations.\nCoordinate temporary compensating controls when required.\nMaintain project dashboards, reporting metrics, and deployment documentation.\nManage project closeout documentation and lessons learned.\nSuccess Measures\nOn-time delivery of security milestones.\nSuccessful operational turnover of new facilities.\nCustomer acceptance achieved without security-related delays.\nHigh stakeholder satisfaction across cross-functional partners.\nComplete and accurate project documentation.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. \n8+ years of experience leading complex physical security, critical infrastructure, construction, or technology deployment programs.\nExperience delivering physical security systems for hyperscale data centers, mission-critical facilities, or other large-scale infrastructure projects.\nExperience managing cross-functional programs involving design, construction, networking, operations, procurement, and customer stakeholders.\nExperience coordinating new site commissioning, operational readiness, and transition to operations.\nExperience working with security system integrators, engineering consultants, general contractors, and owner representatives.\nTechnical Knowledge\nAccess control systems (Genetec preferred)\nVideo surveillance systems\nSecurity networking fundamentals\nStructured cabling infrastructure\nLow-voltage systems\nSecurity design standards\nElectronic security commissioning\nSecurity system integration\nCybersecurity fundamentals for operational technology\nCertifications (Preferred)\n ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP)\nCertified Protection Professional (CPP)\nGenetec Security Center Certification\nProject Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent\nEqual Opportunities Statement\n We strongly encourage applications from people of colour, the LGBTQ+ community, people with disabilities, neurodivergent people, parents, carers, and people from lower socio-economic backgrounds.\nIf there’s anything we can do to accommodate your specific situation, please let us know.\nThe responsibilities outlined in this job description are not exhaustive and are intended to provide a general overview of the position.
