Instead, it is a strategic position responsible for building efficient systems, managing complex vendor ecosystems, and aligning workplace operations with broader business goals.\nThe ideal candidate is a strategic operator who can translate business needs into scalable workplace solutions, while overseeing (rather than owning) day-to-day execution.\nKey Responsibilities\nStrategic Operations & Planning\nDevelop and implement workplace operations strategies aligned with company growth plans\nDesign scalable processes, policies, and systems to support current and future office needs\nIdentify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across workplace operations\nPartner with leadership on workplace strategy, capacity planning, and future expansion\nUse data and insights to inform decisions around space utilisation, cost, and efficiency\nWorkplace & Facilities Oversight (Non-Frontline)\nOversee office operations through coordination with Office Management / front-of-house support\nOwn vendor strategy, contract negotiation, and performance management (cleaning, maintenance, facilities, etc.)\nLead workplace planning initiatives (layout optimisation, office expansions, new locations)\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards at a strategic level\nAct as escalation point for complex facilities or operational issues\nBudget & Resource Management\nOwn and manage workplace operations budgets (OPEX & CAPEX)\nTrack and optimise spend across vendors, services, and infrastructure\nIdentify cost-saving opportunities and improve resource allocation\nLead procurement strategy for office-related services and equipment\nPeople Experience & Workplace Strategy\nDefine and evolve the workplace experience strategy (not just execution of events)\nPartner with People/HR teams on initiatives impacting employee experience\nEnsure workplace design supports productivity, collaboration, and engagement\nProvide guidance on workplace programs rather than owning logistics\nTechnology & Systems\nPartner with IT to ensure workplace systems and tools are scalable and effective\nEvaluate and implement tools that improve workplace operations and reporting\nDrive operational efficiency through system improvements and automation\nScaling & Expansion\nBuild workplace operations frameworks that can scale across multiple locations\nSupport new office launches and expansion projects\nEstablish standards and playbooks for consistent workplace experience across sites\nWhat We’re Looking For\nProven experience in Workplace Operations, Facilities Management, or similar strategic role\nStrong experience in scaling office environments or supporting organisational growth\nDemonstrated ability to build processes and systems from the ground up\nExperience managing complex vendor ecosystems and contracts\nSolid understanding of facilities and building systems (HVAC, compliance, etc.)\nStrong financial acumen, including OPEX and CAPEX budget ownership\nStrategic mindset with the ability to step back from day-to-day execution\nExcellent stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior leadership\nNice to Have\nExperience managing multi-site or international office operations\nBackground in high-growth or scaling organisations\nExperience implementing workplace tools or systems\nExposure to workplace strategy, real estate, or space planning\nThe range below reflects the base salary for the position. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as skill set, experience, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs.
