Raghavan Centre for\nEntrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) is IIM Bangalore's startup hub and incubation\ncentre, structured as a Section 8 not-for-profit. Its mission is to support\nventures that can create significant economic and societal impact. This\nfinancial year alone, NSRCEL has engaged with 1,106 ventures through 13 program\ntracks across 82 towns in India.\nNSRCEL is supported by the\nDepartment of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Electronics and\nInformation Technology, and partners with corporates and foundations to support\nidea-stage and early-revenue entrepreneurs in climate-tech, women entrepreneurship\nand social impact.\nAbout the Climate Centre of\nExcellence\nThe Climate Centre of Excellence\n(Climate CoE) is NSRCEL's climate vertical. It runs a five-pillar platform\n(Incubation, Capital, Research, Policy and Global Innovation) and works with\n100+ climate startups every year across multiple corporate-sponsored programs,\nbacked by a network of 250+ mentors.\nThe CoE works with corporate\npartners such as Maruti Suzuki, Hindustan Unilever and Pernod Ricard India\nFoundation, and with institutional partners such as KREDL, IISc and UNSW.\nThrough its Sunrise Sectors work, it also tracks emerging sectors to shape where\nNSRCEL incubates next.\nThe role\nYou will lead a portfolio of the\nClimate CoE's corporate-sponsored programs and own its results: program\noutcomes, partner relationships, the P&L and the team that delivers it. You\nwill also help shape what the CoE builds next, from new program formats to its\nwork across Capital, Research, Policy and Global Innovation.\nWe are hiring at Program Manager\nor Senior Program Manager level, depending on experience. A Program Manager\n(about 6-9 years) owns one or two programs and their budgets. A Senior Program\nManager (about 9-12 years) owns a portfolio of programs and its P&L, leads\na team and drives new partnerships and revenue.\nWhat you will do\nPrograms and portfolio\n·Own end-to-end delivery of your programs,\nincluding design, selection, curriculum, mentoring, outcomes and M&E,\nagainst agreed logframe milestones and KPIs.\n·Design new program formats for emerging\nclimate sectors, drawing on the Sunrise Sectors thesis and what partners and\nfounders need.\n·Set up and maintain the venture metrics\nsystem so the CoE can show what its programs achieve for startups.\nP&L and partnerships\n·Own the program P&L: topline and net\nrevenue, direct and indirect cost allocation, overhead contribution, forecasts\nand utilisation.\n·Be the senior contact for corporate and CSR\nsponsors. Run reviews, manage expectations and drive renewals and expanded\nscope.\n·Lead proposals and pitches for new sponsors\n(Senior Program Manager level), and work with legal and finance to structure\ncontracts.\n·Ensure strict financial and compliance\ndiscipline across all programs, including utilisation certificates, audits and\npartner reporting.\nAcross the CoE's pillars\n·Connect portfolio startups to capital,\nincluding investors, grant programs and blended finance.\n·Contribute to research, policy engagement\nwith state and central government bodies, and international partnerships.\n·Represent NSRCEL at ecosystem forums,\nroundtables and conferences, and publish sector briefs and points of view.\nTeam and operations\n·Lead, coach and review a team of Assistant\nManagers and Program Associates. Set clear goals that support the CoE's targets\nand build their capability.\n·Build SOPs and AI-enabled workflows that let\nthe team run more programs without adding headcount at the same rate.\n·Travel to meet ventures, partners and\necosystem organisations.\nWhat success looks like in your\nfirst year\n·Programs delivered against every partner\nmilestone, with sponsors renewing or expanding.\n·Net revenue and overhead contribution targets\nmet for your portfolio.\n·At least one new sponsor or program signed\n(Senior Program Manager level).\n·A team with clear goals that meets them, and\nat least one team member ready for a bigger role.\nRequirements\nWhat you will need to bring to\nthe table\n·10-14 yearsof overall experience, including\nat least 3 years managing programs in incubation or acceleration, VC, CSR or\nphilanthropy, climate or sustainability, or consulting.\n·A track record of owning large budgets and\nsenior external stakeholders, and delivering against contractual milestones.\n·Financial acumen: comfort building and\ndefending a budget, a forecast and a P&L.\n·People leadership experience (required at\nSenior Program Manager level).\n·Partnership building, structured writing and\nstrong presentation skills.\n·Understanding of India's climate-tech and\nstartup ecosystem, with relevant networks.\n·A Master's degree (MBA, sustainability,\nengineering, public policy or related) is preferred.
