NSRCEL is deeply\ncommitted to mobilizing the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the country to foster\ninnovation and economic growth.\nAbout Impact Orbit\n\nImpact Orbit is the specialized social\nentrepreneurship vertical of NSRCEL, the prominent business incubation center\nhoused at IIM Bangalore. Launched in 2017, it has scaled to become India's\nlargest social incubator by venture volume, offering structured lifecycle\nsupport to both for-profit and non-profit social enterprises.\nCore Mission and Offerings:\n\nThe initiative acts as a bridge connecting\nsocial entrepreneurs, academia, and industry players. It targets early-stage\nand growth-stage startups addressing severe environmental and socio-economic\nchallenges. Over an 8 to 9-month incubation period, participating ventures\nreceive:\nFinancialGrants: Non-equity grants ranging up to ₹12.5-15 Lakhs for selected\nstartups.\n\nBusinessDevelopment: Personalized 1-on-1 mentoring, value proposition clarity, and\nlegal compliance support.\n\nFunding& Impact Readiness: Training in alternative funding avenues, investor\npitches, and rigorous impact measurement frameworks\n\nWhat you\nwill be doing:\nAs a pivotal\nmember of NSRCEL’s Impact Orbit Team you will play a critical role in\ninfluencing strategic decisions for the flagship programs like Impact Orbit and\nthe Impact Centre of Excellence\nKey\nresponsibilities:\nDrive the impact Orbit program end to end -Own the entire program, design, collaborations, outcomes, M&E, team,\ninternal stakeholders, utilization and communications with donors\n\nManage and oversee the impact team, driveoperations, provide guidance on milestones, travel to meet ventures\n\nMaintain,document all program related data, plan and forecast, execute and deliver\ntimelines with team\n\nEnsureprogrammatic spend through stringent financial and compliance utilization\n\nInterfacewith CSR donors as a POC through timely updates, reports and ensure\ndeliverables are achieved on time.\n\nContribute to creating the Impact Centre ofExcellence with ideas and research\n\nCoach the team to help them achieveprofessional progress and success\n\nResearch aspirational sectors for programs\nMaintain touch points with ventures andalumni of Impact orbit programs in the past for tracking the journey and\ncreating new models of engagement.\n\nRequirements\nWhat you\nwill need to bring to the table\nAn MBA, or post-graduate in SocialEntrepreneurship / Social Work\n\nOverall experience of 10-12 years (relevantexperience in non-profit incubation, & program management)\n\nHave started a business or a non-profit orled an important org function, preferably in a social startup\n\nEvidence of partnership building, organizational,interpersonal and communications skills.\n\nPrior experience in handling importantstakeholders and large budgets\n\nUnderstanding of the entrepreneurialecosystem along with relevant networks in India & beyond\n\nDrive a high-speed, action-packed incubationCSR project, creating deliverables and ensuring the project achieves them\n\nAppetite to travel, network with ventures,collaborate with eco-system organizations and create new value to the project\nand NSRCEL
