Employees are expected to be able to perform each of these job duties satisfactorily and successfully with or without reasonable accommodation.\nClinical Supervision:\nProvide direct clinical supervision to dental program students during patient care.\nEnsure students adhere to clinical protocols and maintain high standards of patient care.\nConduct regular assessments of clinical competencies and skills development.\nAddress any issues related to infection control and safety in the clinical setting.\nOffer guidance on patient interaction and communication skills.\nReview and evaluate students' clinical performance and provide constructive feedback.\nMonitor students' adherence to ethical and professional standards in patient care.\nDemonstrate the NTC Core Abilities and Standards of Teaching Excellence in the delivery of instruction\nCurriculum Development:\nCollaborate with faculty to integrate clinical experiences into the dental hygiene curriculum.\nAssist in the implementation of practical, hands-on learning opportunities for students.\nIncorporate industry advancements and evidence-based practices into clinical education.\nSupports and implements assessment tools for evaluating clinical proficiency.\nClinical Protocols and Procedures:\nEnsure students understand and follow established clinical protocols and procedures.\nMaintain clinical guidelines to align with industry best practices.\nMonitor compliance with safety regulations and implement corrective actions when necessary.\nStudent Mentorship:\nAct as a mentor to dental program students.\nProvide guidance on professional growth.\nAssist students in navigating challenges related to clinical experiences.\nFoster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for students.\nQuality Assurance:\nImplement quality assurance measures to ensure program effectiveness.\nConduct periodic assessments of student clinical work, program outcomes, and student performance.\nCollaborate with accreditation bodies to maintain program accreditation.\nImplement evidence-based practices to enhance the quality of education.\nCommunity Engagement:\nFoster partnerships with local dental clinics and healthcare facilities.\nFacilitate community outreach programs to promote oral health awareness.\nEncourage student participation in community service activities.\nEstablish and maintain relationships with industry professionals for potential collaborations.\nMinimum Qualifications Required\nIn limited circumstances, NTC may consider a combination of education, training, and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of this position.\nEducation: Professional Degree\nDDS/DMD; Current license, active and unrestricted, to practice Dentistry in the state of WI Graduate of an accredited dental school through the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)\nExperience: 2 Years\nAdditional Experience Information:\nClinical knowledge to practice comprehensive dentistry, including diagnosis and treatment of oral health issues.\nMust have at least two (2) years of full-time or equivalent of clinical experience in dentistry.\nCurrent in CPR\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nIn order to perform the functions and responsibilities of the position (listed above) the following knowledge, skills, and abilities, including language skills, reasoning and mathematical abilities are essential.\nLanguage Skills:\nAbility to read, write, analyze and interpret complex documents;
