The Systems Engineer provides Tier 3 escalation support and serves as the senior technical resource for server, cloud, and Microsoft 365 environments, while also delivering project work migrations, infrastructure buildouts, backup and security implementations, and automation initiatives from design through completion. The right person will be able to anticipate needs, think critically, balance project deliverables against day-to-day escalations, and support a wide variety of tasks with high levels of professionalism, confidentiality, tact, and precision.\nLocation and Work Expectations\nThis position is 100% onsite in our Tampa, FL office.\nMonday - Friday, approximately 8am - 5pm EST\nThis position may have on call needs to cover evening and weekend hours for special projects\nWhat you will be doing\nInstall, Configure, Manage, and Troubleshoot Physical, Virtual, and Cloud Servers Per Ntiva and Industry Best practices. \nRespond to Day-to-Day Critical Issues or Requests where Advanced Expertise or Experience is needed. \nMicrosoft 365 Migration, Configuration, Troubleshooting, and High-Level Administration for new and existing clients. \nUnderstand and Manage our RMM solution used to remotely support the client and internal servers and workstations. \nProvide Tier 3 support for escalations and outages, in some cases requiring communications with customers and end users. \nMaintain Client Backup Solutions for Cloud and On-Prem Infrastructures. \nMonitoring of Alerting and Identifying Trends - Perform root cause analysis to resolve the problem. \nParticipate in the development and design of Client Support efforts and systems. \nDesign, build, and maintain automated processes for various tasks. \nEmploy good communication and documentation habits. \nPerform other tasks and duties as assigned by Management \nYou’ll be successful in this role if you bring\nAt least 5+ years of Hands-On IT MSP or Other Relevant experience. \nKeen ability to troubleshoot IT issues and dedication to follow an issue to resolution. \nA willingness and commitment to learn new things and grow new skill sets. \nCritical thinking and creative problem solving. \nAbility to efficiently multitask and independently complete projects and tasks. \nOutstanding communication skills - both written and verbal. \nMust be highly focused on customer service. \nExtreme attention to detail, a passion for accuracy, and excellent organizational skills. \nDiscretion and confidentiality when required. \nSelf-motivated with a positive attitude. \nEffectively handle deadline pressures and manage conflicting priorities. \nExcellent judgment and situational awareness. \nHands-on experience configuring and administering Microsoft 365 environments. \nExperience managing Entra ID and Active Directory synchronization, including identity and access troubleshooting. \nStrong working knowledge of Exchange Online administration, mail flow, and issue resolution. \nExperience administering and supporting SharePoint Online and OneDrive environments. \nProficiency supporting and administering Microsoft Teams, including configuration and troubleshooting. \nExperience with Microsoft Intune for device, application, and policy management. \nKnowledge of Windows Autopilot deployment, provisioning, and troubleshooting. \nPowerShell scripting experience and an automation-focused mindset; broader automation experience is preferred. \nBonus points for\nExperience deploying, configuring, and managing Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to strengthen endpoint security and threat response. \nExperience administering Microsoft Defender for Office 365, including email protection, anti-phishing, and threat investigation capabilities. \nFamiliarity with Microsoft Purview, including data loss prevention, retention policies, and sensitivity labels. \nExperience designing and implementing Conditional Access policies that balance security requirements with user access needs. \nHands-on experience supporting and administering Microsoft Azure cloud environments. \nBenefits and Perks\nMedical, Dental and Vision coverage for employee and family\n401k + company-matched contributions 4% match on 5% contribution - no vesting period!
