Come explore one of our many opportunities and grow with us!\nHow you’ll make an Impact\nAs the Systems Engineer (SE) within the Dental Division, you will primarily focus on implementing, deploying, documenting, and supporting IT infrastructure designed by our Solution Architects for a client base of dental practices and Dental Service Organizations (DSOs). Strong customer relations and follow-up to ensure that service has been completed to customer's satisfaction are a must. You’ll need to be a team player, yet work well independently, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Responsibilities include working with Project Managers (PMs) and Solution Architects to implement and deploy solutions for IT projects, as well as provide network administration for client support needs when necessary.\nLocation and Work Expectations\nThis is a hybrid position that is 80% remote and 20% travel required to work onsite with clients. \nCandidates with proximity to our Kansas City office are preferred.\nWhat you will be doing\nDeploy advanced technical solutions designed by Solution Architects, including but not limited to new deployments and service modifications, for dental practice and DSO clients\nMaintain minimum billable utilization of 80%.\nProvide excellent implementation and project support to customers remotely or onsite as needed.\nExecute complex migrations and configurations, including practice-management-system transitions, imaging system integrations, and multi-site DSO rollouts.\nDocument migration and infrastructure changes and prepare for steady-state support post-implementation.\nCommunicate clearly both internally and externally on the progress, issues, and scope changes needed on projects.\nBe able to pivot and provide solutions when plans change or do not meet the requirements of the project.\nProvide input and recommendations to Solution Architects and Project Managers to assist with project creation and planning.\nDesign and build GPOs to enforce policies across organizations.\nInstall and configure virtual machines and hosts.\nBuild cloud and on-premises physical servers.\nConfigure Azure AD and Microsoft Entra Connect to O365.\nTroubleshoot advanced applications and servers.\nBuild and design networks, including network and firewall configurations, switch configurations, and wireless networks that meet the bandwidth and latency needs of dental imaging equipment (intraoral cameras, intraoral sensors, intraoral scanners, extraoral sensors such as CBCT/Pano/Ceph, and vitals monitors).\nBuild and design Active Directory infrastructure following best practices and taking into consideration client needs (on-premises Active Directory as well as Azure AD).\nDeploy high-availability infrastructure (networking, virtualization, clustering).\nDeploy backup and recovery technologies.\nYou’ll be successful in this role if you have\nAt least 3-7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.\n2-4 years of Dental IT project experience, with familiarity with dental hardware such as intraoral cameras, intraoral sensors, intraoral scanners, extraoral sensors (CBCT/Pano/Ceph), and vitals monitors.\nIntermediate knowledge of Intune and Autopilot.\nExpertise in Windows configurations and services.\nAdvanced knowledge of DNS (internal and external).\nAdvanced knowledge of networking, both physical and virtual.\nAdvanced knowledge of cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, or OCI).\nAdvanced knowledge of virtualization, clustering, and high availability.\nAdvanced knowledge of Active Directory (both on-premises and Azure AD).\nAdvanced knowledge of M365 licensing, configuration, best practices, and feature set.\nThis role involves extended periods of sitting or standing and regular use of computers and office equipment.\nBonus points for\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable.\nCertifications including Microsoft Role Based Certifications, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP, ITIL, Comp Tia, etc.\nExperience with ConnectWise (Manage, Automate, Control), SCCM, or similar service management system.\nSubject matter expert for specific technologies (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Cisco, etc.).\nMSP experience.\nWorking knowledge of HIPAA requirements as they apply to IT infrastructure and data handling.\nRequired language skills\nAbility to communicate professionally, in English, both written and orally.\nAbility to write business correspondence and process procedures.\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.\nPhysical Requirements / Working Conditions\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds.\nMust be able to lift up to 75 pounds rarely.\nMust be able to perform occasional bending, kneeling, squatting, and turning.\nMust be able to perform occasional reaching over shoulder height, waist level and from floor.\nMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment.\nMust be able to work in an unsupervised environment.\nMust be able to drive / sit for extended periods of time.\nBenefits and Perks\nMedical, Dental and Vision coverage for employee and family\n401k + company-matched contributions 4% match on 5% contribution - no vesting period!
