Our most active strategic customers today are in Aerospace & Defense, designing air vehicles, and we're looking for an engineer who has worked inside that world and wants to bring that expertise to a broader set of customers and design challenges. In this role, you will own the end-to-end learning experience for our customers, developing curriculum, delivering training virtually and onsite, and partnering closely with Product to ensure enablement content reflects the latest features, best practices, and messaging. You will bridge our customers’ learning needs and nTop’s product capabilities, driving adoption and long-term success across our customer base.\nThis role is remote, and reports into the Manager, Customer Enablement & Field Strategy.\nWhat You Will Do:\nCustomer Training & Enablement Delivery\nPlan, develop, and deliver structured training programs for new and existing customers across virtual and onsite formats\nDesign and maintain role-based learning paths and curriculum tailored to customer personas (e.g., design engineers, simulation analysts)\nFacilitate onboarding sessions for new accounts\nAdapt training content to address varying skill levels-from introductory users to advanced practitioners working with FEA, CFD, and design automation workflows\nRespond to ad hoc training requests and identify opportunities to deepen product adoption during customer engagements\nEnablement Content Development\nBuild and maintain a library of high-quality enablement assets including tutorials, how-to guides, workflow walkthroughs, video content, and self-service learning materials\nTranslate complex nTop capabilities into clear, accessible learning content appropriate for both technical and non-technical audiences\nContinuously update and refresh content in response to product releases, new features, and evolving best practices\nDevelop internal enablement materials to support onboarding of new Field Engineering team members\nProduct & Enablement Alignment\nPartner with the Product team to stay current on the nTop roadmap, new feature releases, and updated messaging, ensuring all training materials reflect the most accurate and up-to-date information\nProvide structured feedback loops from training engagements back to Product and Customer Success, surfacing common knowledge gaps, workflow friction points, and user needs\nCollaborate cross-functionally with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Marketing to align enablement strategy with go-to-market initiatives\nContribute to the development of external-facing content such as webinars, conference workshops, and product education campaigns\nRequired Experience:\nCurrent or recent experience in aircraft conceptual or preliminary design, or a closely related discipline (e.g., aerostructures, propulsion integration, vehicle-level sizing and tradeoff studies, MDO)\nA Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related Engineering discipline, plus 3+ years of industry experience (highly relevant doctoral degrees can be substituted for three years)\nDemonstrated ability to learn new technical software quickly; prior experience with nTop, parametric CAD, or computational design tools is valuable, but we will invest in ramping the right engineer on our platform\nExperience with scripting in Python, Excel/VBA\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences\nComfortable presenting in front of large audiences and senior stakeholders\nDemonstrated level of autonomy and responsibility in handling time-sensitive critical projects\nDemonstrated experience developing or delivering training, documentation, or educational content in a professional setting\nWilling to travel to conferences and customer sites (up to 50%)\nIt’s A Plus If You Also Have These:\nExperience with nTop software\nProject management experience\nSecurity clearance\nExperience with FEA and/or CFD (at least one of: Abaqus, Ansys, Fluent/CFX, Nastran, Star-CCM+, LS-DYNA)\nProficiency in parametric modeling & 3D CAD (Siemens NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, Onshape)\nExperience with Conceptual design, Analysis, or MDO. Especially in Aerospace Engineering\nExperience working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to traditional GTM/SaaS teams & processes \nExperience with conference presentations, training workshops, and other industry-related public speaking engagements.\nExposure to design optimization, surrogate modeling, or AI/ML for inverse design applications\nCompensation\nBetween 135,000-180,000 annually plus equity and benefits, depending on level and experience\nPlease note that nTop may use AI products to assist in the recruiting process.
