Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Associate Collections Analyst works under the supervision a senior manager and is responsible for learning the skills associated with the management and optimization of the collections process for outstanding payments from clients.\nThis role involves closely monitoring accounts receivable, following up on overdue invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with clients to ensure timely and successful collections.\nKey responsibilities:\nSupports with monitoring accounts receivable and proactively contacts clients/other external parties to collect outstanding payments.\nFollows up on overdue invoices through emails, phone calls, or other communication channels to secure timely payment.\nMaintains positive and professional communication with clients/other external parties to address billing inquiries, resolve disputes, and negotiate payment arrangements.\nSupports with accurately applying received payments to appropriate client accounts and reconciles discrepancies.\nSupports with investigating and resolving billing disputes or discrepancies with clients and internal stakeholders.\nHelps with preparing regular reports on collections performance, aging of accounts receivable, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.\nAssists with collections forecasting to provide insights into cash flow projections.\nLearns how to evaluate client credit risk and how to recommend appropriate credit limits or credit hold actions.\nMaintains accurate and up-to-date collections records and documentation.\nPerforms any other credit analysis duties as required by the role.\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nUnderstanding of collections processes and best practices.\nUnderstanding of collections software, financial analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).\nGood communication and negotiation skills.\nGood attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nKnowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.\nProblem-solving and analytical abilities to resolve collections issues and disputes.\nAcademic qualifications and certifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.\nRequired experience:\nEntry level experience as a Collections Analyst or in a similar financial analysis role is preferred.\nBasic experience working with large corporate clients.\nWorkplace type:\nOn-site WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
