Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Associate Financial Analyst is an entry level role within the Financial Reporting and Analysis job family, responsible for assisting with the gathering and analysis of financial data to facilitate decision-making.\nThis role works towards gaining practical experience in finance, specifically analyzing past company performance against set metrics and cost management.\nThis role works under the supervision of more experienced members of the team.\nKey responsibilities:\nWorking under guidance, extracts data from financial reports to conduct financial and statistical analysis and learns to identify financial discrepancies and recommends appropriate solutions.\nHelps with the monitoring and controlling of expenditure and develops skills in approving or denying requisitions based on whether the items are within budget.\nHelps prepare assigned financial reports based on the analysis results.\nParticipates in presentations related to findings and provides recommendations to the relevant internal stakeholders.\nDevelops skills to reconcile and review monthly account analysis for balance sheet accounts.\nProvides assistance with the annual budgeting and forecasting process.\nDevelops skills to perform analysis on areas of risk or opportunity within the business and that the financial levers are understood and communicated to the business together with clear recommendations.\nAssists with the review of business initiatives to ensure that they meet the required profitability expectations.\nAssists with identifying cost management opportunities (processes or expenses) for ensuring improved profitability and sustainable returns for the business.\nPerforms any other relevant task as assigned by the management team.\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nDemonstrates good attention to detail and maintains high quality of work.\nGood verbal and written communication skill.\nDisplay good planning and organizing ability.\nDeadline driven with ability to cope with stressful situations.\nAble to deal with different individuals at all levels in the organization.\nTakes own initiative and have a solutions-orientated approach.\nProactive approach with the ability to think ahead in a fast-paced environment.\nDeveloping analytical skills.\nSome ability to understand underlying business drivers and provide actionable insights based on analysis.\nSome knowledge and some prior exposure to international entities, foreign currency and inter-company transactions.\nAcademic qualifications and certifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent finance, economics, business management, statistics, or related field is preferred.\nRelevant financial analysis certification(s) preferred.\nRequired experience:\nBasic experience in a similar position in a related environment.\nBasic experience with accounting software.\nBasic experience within finance in a company with international operations.\nWorkplace type:\nHybrid WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
