Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Director, Service/Product Offer Management is a leadership role, responsible for dealing with a set of products and/or services and may be required to manage product portfolios specific to the business unit/division that falls within their span of control.\nThis role is responsible for driving the product and/or service plans and roadmaps of an assigned portfolio of products and/or service offerings in the organization by managing the Service Offer Management function and a group of Service Offer Management Managers.\nThe Director, Service/Product Offer Management oversees the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements in order to define product strategies and identify product opportunities.\nKey responsibilities:\nLeads, oversees and agrees the development of the product and/or service strategy and plans.\nDefines market segments and identify white space opportunities for the portfolio of products and/or services.\nAnalyzes and scans the environment for market, client and competitive trends to contribute to business strategy.\nPromotes the portfolio of products both internally and externally.\nManages the product management function by ensuring the business justification to acquire the necessary resources.\nEffectively manages a Service Offer Management team, their resources, development and overall performance.\nOversees the implementation of the organization’s overall product strategies into the business divisions and to the relevant stakeholders.\nDetermines the feasibility of the concept for development and define and develop the product specifications.\nDevelops and delivers product training and communication to client facing staff and relevant internal stakeholders.\nEstablishes and develops product-pricing models and contribute to the identification of suitable promotional techniques and sales and distribution channels.\nLeads the product/service development effort and ensure that the products/services meet quality and client satisfaction requirements.\nOversees the implementation of the complete product/service plan for the products/services within the portfolio.\nOversees the alignment of the product and/or service set with the current and perceived market opportunities through new product and service offering launches, modifications, optimizations and terminations.\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nSignificant knowledge of market segments and product portfolio categories\nSignificant knowledge of product lifecycles and technology solutions.\nSignificant knowledge of product management disciplines and tools.\nDemonstrate financial awareness and commercial acumen.\nPossesses strategic thinking skills with sound presentation and public speaking abilities.\nSignificant problem analysis and solution formulation capabilities.\nExcellent verbal and written communication ability.\nSignificant people management skills and the ability to coach other.\nSignificant understanding of the organization's transformation and change programs.\nDemonstrate a sound understanding of the technologies related to product areas\nSignificant understanding of the product’s functionality and capability.\nDisplays an astute mind-set with critical thinking ability.\nAcademic qualifications and certifications:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science or Business or related field.\nRelevant certifications such as Scaled Agile and ITIL are beneficial.\nRequired experience:\nSignificant experience in a similar position, preferably gained within a global technology services organization.\nSignificant experience gained within the technology industry.\nSignificant track record managing the implementation new products or product lines.\nWorkplace type:\nRemote WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune\nGlobal 100.
