Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nRole Summary\nWe are looking for hands-on Cloud Migration Engineers to execute enterprise workload migrations, primarily to AWS, with Microsoft Azure experience considered an advantage.\nThis is an execution-focused engineering position. The successful candidate must have practical experience migrating production servers or applications from on-premises or virtualized environments to public cloud platforms.\nWe are particularly interested in engineers with strong Windows/Linux infrastructure backgrounds who have participated directly in migration projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute server and workload migrations from on-premises, VMware, and other cloud environments to AWS.\nConfigure and operate AWS Application Migration Service (MGN) and other migration tools.\nPerform source server assessments, agent installation, replication configuration, and migration readiness checks.\nExecute test migrations, validate replicated workloads, and troubleshoot migration issues.\nParticipate in migration wave planning and technical cutover preparation.\nPerform production cutovers, post-migration validation, and hypercare activities.\nTroubleshoot operating system, networking, storage, DNS, Active Directory, and application connectivity issues.\nSupport migration runbook creation, technical documentation, and rollback procedures.\nCollaborate with Technical Leads, Cloud Foundation Engineers, and customer application owners.\nIdentify opportunities to automate repetitive migration activities and improve migration efficiency.\nMandatory Technical Skills\nHands-on experience migrating Windows and/or Linux servers to AWS or another public cloud.\nPractical experience with AWS EC2, EBS, VPC, security groups, and basic IAM.\nExperience with AWS MGN, Azure Migrate, VMware HCX, RiverMeadow, or comparable server migration technologies.\nStrong Windows Server and/or Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.\nKnowledge of VMware vSphere or similar virtualization technologies.\nUnderstanding of DNS, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, and basic network troubleshooting.\nFamiliarity with server replication, testing, cutover, rollback, and post-migration validation.\nExperience troubleshooting infrastructure and operating system issues.\nAbility to follow migration runbooks and execute production changes safely.\nNice-to-Have Skills\nMicrosoft Azure VM migration experience and Azure Migrate.\nAWS Transform, RiverMeadow, CloudHedge, or other migration accelerators.\nPowerShell, Bash, Python, or automation scripting.\nTerraform, Ansible, or basic Infrastructure as Code experience.\nActive Directory, Group Policy, and Windows infrastructure services.\nSQL Server, Oracle, or other database migration exposure.\nAWS networking, VPN, Direct Connect, or hybrid connectivity.\nAWS IAM, cloud security, or operational monitoring.\nExperience with application dependency mapping and migration discovery.\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, SysOps Administrator, or equivalent certification.\nExpected Outcomes\nIndependently execute assigned migration tasks and migration waves.\nDeliver successful server migrations with minimal rework.\nIdentify and resolve replication, cutover, and post-migration issues.\nContribute to reusable migration procedures and automation.\nSupport predictable, repeatable, high-volume migration delivery.\nCritical selection criterion: Candidates must demonstrate direct involvement in real server or workload migrations.
