If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.\nWe are currently seeking a Accounting Specialist (Accounts Payable) to join our team in Remote, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (MY-14), Malaysia (MY).\nSummary\nThe Senior Associate Specialist, Accounts Payable supports the execution of accounts payable activities with a high degree of accuracy and consistency. This role independently processes invoices and payments, resolves routine discrepancies, and supports month-end close and audit activities.\nThe Senior Associate Specialist works closely with Specialists and AP leadership to ensure smooth daily operations and compliance with established AP policies and controls.\nKEY responsibilities\nAccounts Payable Processing & Execution\nProcess supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and documentation.\nPrepare and support payment runs in accordance with established schedules and controls.\nPerform vendor statement reconciliations and investigate routine discrepancies.\nMaintain accurate AP records, files, and supporting documentation.\nVendor & Internal Support\nRespond to routine vendor inquiries regarding invoice status and payments.\nCoordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies and approval delays.\nSupport accurate maintenance of vendor master data under established control procedures.\nMonth-End Close & Reporting Support\nSupport AP close activities, including invoice cut-off, accrual support, and reconciliations.\nPrepare routine AP schedules and reports for close and management reporting.\nAssist in resolving variances and reconciling AP balances.\nControls, Compliance & Audit Support\nExecute AP processes in compliance with internal controls, approval frameworks, and company policies.\nSupport internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to routine requests.\nIdentify processing errors or exceptions and escalate for review.\nProcess & Systems Support\nFollow documented AP procedures and SOPs.\nParticipate in process improvement and system enhancement initiatives.\nSupport testing and adoption of new AP tools or workflow changes.\nAssist in knowledge sharing with Associate Specialists as needed.\nKNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES\nGood understanding of accounts payable processes and controls.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to manage assigned tasks independently and meet deadlines.\nAnalytical mindset to identify and resolve routine discrepancies.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nOrganized, dependable, and solutions-oriented.\nHigh ethical standards and respect for financial controls.\nACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE\n2-4 years of experience in accounts payable or finance operations.\nExperience processing invoices, payments, and vendor reconciliations.\nExposure to month-end close and audit support.\nProficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Excel.\nExperience in shared services or multi-entity environments preferred.\nPHYSICAL requirements\nFrequently move about inside and outside of data center / facility\nRemain stationary for long periods of time.\nAscend / Descend a ladder and perform duties atop a raised platform.\nPosition self in small spaces.\nOperate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment.\nPerform work during Malaysia business hours and time zones, however may occassionally require to connect with European Team later in the day .\nWork conditions & other requirements\nWork onsite at a data center location\nExposure to varying temperatures and loud noises.\nExposure to outdoor weather conditions.\nPerform work from a remote location with stable internet connection.
