If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.\nWe are currently seeking a Accounting Sr. Analyst (Accounts Payable) to join our team in Remote, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (MY-14), Malaysia (MY).\nSummary\nThe Associate Specialist, Accounts Payable supports the execution of day-to-day accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and record maintenance. This role focuses on accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established procedures and internal controls while developing foundational knowledge of accounts payable processes.\nThe Associate Specialist works under guidance from AP leadership and collaborates with internal stakeholders to support efficient and compliant AP operations.\nKEY responsibilities\nAccounts Payable Processing Support\nAssist with processing supplier invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and documentation.\nSupport preparation of payment runs in accordance with established schedules and controls.\nMaintain accurate AP records, files, and supporting documentation.\nPerform basic data entry and validation in AP systems.\nVendor & Internal Support\nRespond to routine vendor inquiries regarding invoice status and payments under guidance.\nCoordinate with internal teams to follow up on invoice approvals and documentation.\nSupport maintenance of vendor master data in line with control requirements.\nMonth-End Close & Reporting Support\nAssist with AP close activities, including invoice cut-off support and data gathering.\nSupport preparation of routine AP schedules and reports.\nAssist in reconciling AP balances and identifying discrepancies for escalation.\nControls, Compliance & Audit Support\nFollow internal controls, approval workflows, and documented AP procedures.\nSupport audit activities by preparing routine documentation and responding to information requests.\nEscalate processing errors, discrepancies, or control issues as identified.\nProcess & Team Support\nFollow standard operating procedures and work instructions.\nParticipate in training, process updates, and system enhancements.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the AP function.\nPerform other AP-related tasks as assigned.\nKNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES\nBasic understanding of accounts payable or finance operations.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nWillingness to learn and follow established procedures.\nGood organizational and time-management skills.\nEffective communicator and collaborative team member.\nHigh ethical standards and respect for financial controls.\nACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE\nEntry- levelexperience in accounts payable, finance operations, or a related role.\nInternship or entry-level experience in finance or accounting is a plus.\nBasic proficiency in Excel.\nExposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage but not required.\nPHYSICAL requirements\nFrequently move about inside and outside of data center / facility\nRemain stationary for long periods of time.\nAscend / Descend a ladder and perform duties atop a raised platform.\nPosition self in small spaces.\nOperate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment.\nPerform work during Malaysia business hours and time zones, however may occassionally require to connect with European Team later in the day .\nWork conditions & other requirements\nWork onsite at a data center location.\nExposure to varying temperatures and loud noises.\nExposure to outdoor weather conditions.\nTravel required ##% of time.\nPerform work from a remote location with stable internet connection (hybrid model, 1 day per week in Cyberjaya office). \nAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
