The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technical capabilities, using their expertise in data strategy, AI strategy, governance, and use case definition to shape transformative solutions for large enterprises. This role is pivotal in supporting business development, influencing C-level stakeholders, and securing end-to-end Data & AI implementation projects through high-impact pre-sales engagements.\nKey Responsibilities\nConsultative Engagement:Lead strategic conversations with enterprise clients to understand business challenges and propose data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.\nConduct Data & AI Maturity Assessments, Discovery Workshops, and Executive Briefings tailored to client industry and business context.\nTranslate complex technical concepts into clear business value for decision-makers.\nStrategy and Governance Advisory:\nDefine comprehensive Data & AI strategies, including data platform modernization, data monetization, and AI adoption roadmaps.\nAdvise clients on data governance frameworks, policies, data quality management, and compliance (e.g., PDPA, industry-specific requirements).\nSupport the development of Responsible AI principles and explainability models aligned with enterprise standards.\n\nPre-Sales Technical Solutioning:Lead pre sales solution design for data integration, data governance, analytics, and AI/ML initiatives.\nCollaborate with solution architects and delivery leads to design end-to-end technical solutions and implementation roadmaps.\nPrepare and deliver high-impact proposals, demos, PoCs, and presentations tailored to CXOs and business stakeholders.\nSupport RFP/RFI responses and develop thought leadership in alignment with client-specific objectives.\nTranslate client requirements into conceptual and solution level architecture and conduct POC.\nRecommend suitable design approaches aligned with client objectives and delivery capabilities.\n\nMarket Engagement:Stay abreast of trends in Data, AI, ML, GenAI, Cloud, and Analytics within the Malaysia and Southeast Asia context.\nBuild relationships with key technology partners (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud) to strengthen solution offerings.\nRepresent the company at conferences, client briefings, and industry forums.\n\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related fields.\n7+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3+ years in a pre-sales, solution consulting, or strategy advisory role in Data & AI.\nStrong track record in consulting with large enterprises in Malaysia, ideally in sectors like BFSI, Telco, Government, Manufacturing, or Energy.\nStrong understanding of data integration, data pipelines, and data modelling principles.\nKnowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.\nAbility to design conceptual and logical data architectures.\nUnderstanding of analytics, reporting, and intelligence solution patterns.\nDeep understanding of AI/ML lifecycle, on premise / cloud data platforms, and analytics tools.\nFamiliarity with technology stacks such as AWS/Azure/Google Data Services Offering, Snowflake, Databricks, HPE Ezmeral, Huawei DWS/MRS, Cloudera, Informatica, Qlik, Talend, DataRobot, Dataiku etc.\nExperience working in or with Big 4, top-tier consulting firms, or leading system integrators is highly advantageous.\nKey Skills & Competencies\nExceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, especially at the C-suite level.\nStrong analytical mindset with the ability to connect data strategy to business objectives.\nAbility to work cross-functionally with sales, technical teams, and delivery units.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, and commercially savvy.\nExcellent storytelling and presentation skills with an executive presence.\nWorkplace type:\nOn-site WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
