If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.\nWe are currently seeking a AI Procurement Domain SME (Remote, US) to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).\nKey Responsibilities\nPresales & Solutioning\nEngage CPOs and leaders across strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, procurement operations, finance, legal, and supply chain to understand transformation priorities. \nLead discovery and value workshops; translate business needs into AI Native solutions with clear outcomes, value hypotheses, scope, and ROI. \nDevelop solution narratives, business cases, POVs, proposals, demo storylines, KPI frameworks, and executive presentations. \nDemonstrate how GenAI and Agentic AI can improve spend visibility, savings realization, sourcing cycle time, supplier performance, compliance, user experience, and procurement productivity. \nAssess process maturity, data readiness, technology landscape, controls, and implementation feasibility to guide opportunity qualification and solution scope. \nDelivery & Value Realization\nServe as the lead procurement domain SME during client engagements, from diagnostic and design through deployment and adoption. \nDefine business requirements, process designs, category and sourcing rules, approval logic, exception handling, controls, and success criteria. \nValidate AI agents, workflows, domain models, ontologies and automation designs against real-world procurement operations and policy requirements. \nPartner with procurement, finance, IT, legal, risk, and business stakeholders to drive adoption, change management, and measurable outcomes. \nEstablish KPI baselines and track realized value against the approved business case, including hard savings, cost avoidance, compliance, cycle time, and productivity. \nProduct & Practice Leadership\nConvert client insights into reusable use cases, accelerators, playbooks, demo assets, process models, and product requirements. \nSupport the roadmap for ]procurement AI capabilities across intake-to-procure, source-to-contract, procure-to-pay, and supplier management. \nTrain sales, solution architects, product, and delivery teams on procurement processes, value drivers, buyer personas, and positioning. \nMonitor market trends, competitor offerings, procurement platforms, regulatory expectations, and emerging AI-native procurement solutions. \nRequired Qualifications\n12+ years of procurement consulting, operations, transformation, technology-enabled change, or relevant industry experience. \nDeep expertise in at least three areas: Strategic Sourcing; Category Management; Spend Analytics; Supplier Relationship and Performance Management; Contract Lifecycle Management; Procurement Operations / P2P; Tail Spend; Supplier Risk; Procurement Analytics and Value Tracking. \nStrong understanding of manufacturing and products industries, including Industrial, Chemicals, Materials, CPG, High Tech, or Automotive sectors. \nExperience with enterprise procurement and ERP platforms such as SAP, SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Ivalua, Jaggaer, GEP, Zycus, or related solutions. \nStrong understanding of how AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI can be applied to procurement decisions, knowledge work, and operational workflows. \nExperience building outcome-based business cases and tracking savings, compliance, cash, productivity, and realized value. \nExecutive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, facilitate strategy workshops, and communicate with both business and technology teams. \nExcellent communication, presentation, proposal development, and structured problem-solving skills. \nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior experience in presales, solution consulting, product management, procurement advisory, or a procurement leadership role. \nExperience implementing AI, analytics, automation, e-sourcing, CLM, supplier management, or source-to-pay solutions. \nFamiliarity with AI-enabled managed services, procurement-as-a-service, or outcome-based commercial models. \nKnowledge of responsible sourcing, sustainability, third-party risk, trade compliance, tariffs, and supplier resilience. \nExperience working with global delivery teams and cross-functional stakeholders in complex enterprise environments. \nCPSM, CIPS, ISM, Lean Six Sigma, or relevant procurement / transformation certifications. \nWhat Success Looks Like\nThe successful candidate can confidently engage with a Chief Procurement Officer, identify high-value transformation opportunities, quantify business impact, and shape AI-powered solutions with a practical understanding of GenAI and Agentic AI. The starting pay range for this remote role is $117,000 - $234,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
