This role owns the practical translation of client needs into solution blueprints, scope, work estimates, phasing, timelines, pricing inputs, SOW content, and delivery handoff materials. The AI Solution Architect partners closely with AI Consultants, Principal Architects, FDE, Delivery, Finance, Commercial, Sales, and ecosystem partners.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign AI solutions aligned to client requirements, NTT DATA standards, and delivery capabilities.\n\nDefine scope, approach, solution blueprints, technical architectures, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and success criteria.\n\nBuild work estimates across roles, effort, skills, locations, tooling, platforms, and delivery dependencies.\n\nDefine workplan timelines, delivery phases, milestones, and MVP-to-scale implementation paths.\n\nPartner with delivery, finance, and commercial teams to shape pricing inputs, deal economics, margin assumptions, and commercial options.\n\nSupport SOW development by defining scope boundaries, deliverables, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and change-control considerations.\n\nValidate feasibility, implementation approach, resourcing model, integration complexity, data readiness, security, governance, and operational support requirements.\n\nIncorporate partner platforms and models into solution designs where relevant.\n\nSupport technical Q&A, client demos, solution walkthroughs, proposal defense, and transition from pursuit to delivery.\n\nContribute reusable estimates, patterns, BOMs, workplans, solution artifacts, and lessons learned into the global AI GTM knowledge base.\n\nSuccess Measures:\nPursuit deal volume, measured as total TCV value of AI deals where the AI Solution Architect supported.\n\nPursuit win rate for AI deals where the AI Solution Architect supported.\n\nUtilization or billability against target.\n\nEstimate quality, solution feasibility, commercial accuracy, and successful handoff into delivery.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n8+ years of experience in solution architecture, technology consulting, software engineering, data engineering, systems integration, presales, or delivery roles.\n\n3+ years of experience designing or delivering AI, data, analytics, ML, GenAI, agentic AI, or automation solutions.\n\n1+ year of hands-on or solutioning experience with GenAI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, or enterprise AI platforms.\n\nExperience producing solution blueprints, work estimates, delivery plans, staffing models, assumptions, dependencies, SOW inputs, and pricing or commercial inputs.\n\nWorking knowledge of cloud, data, integration, application architecture, security, responsible AI, governance, and operational support considerations.\n\nBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.\n\nFluency in German and English\n\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Google/Gemini, Databricks, Snowflake, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, and MLOps/LLMOps tooling.\n\nExperience supporting large pursuits, proposal development, pricing reviews, or delivery mobilization.\n\nAI/ML, cloud, data platform, architecture, or security certifications.\n\nStrong analytical thinking, commercial judgment, written communication, cross-functional collaboration, and client-facing presentation skills.\n\nAbility to travel as required for client and internal engagements.\n\nBenefits:\nFlexible working hours with a flexitime arrangement; business travel time is considered working time\n\n30 days of annual leave, plus December 24 and December 31 as additional non-working days\n\nThe option to take a sabbatical of up to one year\n\nRemote work and mobile working from other EU countries\n\nAttractive benefits and compensation optimisation programmes, including an occupational pension scheme, JobRad bike leasing, a public transport pass, exclusive discounts through Corporate Benefits, and much more\n\nComprehensive health and preventive care benefits, including extended continued remuneration in the event of illness, occupational health services, worldwide accident insurance covering both work-related and leisure-time accidents, and family support services\n\nA wide range of internal and external development opportunities through the NTT DATA Academy, including specialist training, certification programmes, soft-skills training, and access to Udemy\n\nVaried corporate volunteering opportunities, as well as diverse communities and initiatives focusing on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, sustainability, and more, with knowledge sharing on an equal footing\n\nA team-oriented corporate culture with plenty of scope to contribute ideas and shape your work\n\nWith us, you will have countless opportunities to think big, act boldly, and take responsibility.
