Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L2) is a developing engineering role, responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational.Through the proactive monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving of technical incidents and problems, the Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L2) is able to restore service to clients.\nThe primary objective of this role is to proactively review client requests or tickets and apply technical/process knowledge to resolve them without breaching service level agreement (SLA).\nThe Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L2) focuses on second-line support for incidents and requests with a medium level of complexity and focusses across two or more technology domains - Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications and / or Collaboration etc.\nThis role may also contribute to / support on project work as and when required.\nWhat you'll be doing\nKey Responsibilities:\nMinimum 4 yrs. of hands-on experience in backup storage operations.\nShould possess good product and domain knowledge\nShould have strong troubleshooting skills\nManage, configuration and implementation skills in Commvault platform\nPerform daily backup routines as defined in policy\nConfigure, monitor alerts, diagnose event alerts\nConfigure storage units, column pools, disk staging and storage lifecycle policies, creating policies and schedules\nAbility to co-relate incident trends into problem management and execute permanent fixes\nGood documentation skills\nExecute patch managements as and when required\nPerform other duties as assigned by line manager\n Academic Qualifications and Certifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).\nCertifications relevant to the services provided (certifications carry additional weightage on a candidate’s qualification for the role).\nWorkplace type:\nOn-site WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
