Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion - it’s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.\nYour day at NTT DATA\nThe Data Center Technical Services (TS) Systems Integration Specialist is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for providing technical support to clients and involved in medium to complex environments for installation, integration, deployment, configuration and fault management.\nThis role is able to compile technical specifications in a clear, concise, unambiguous manner to explain the advantages and disadvantages of options leading to the final solution and are able to create alternative solutions as backup planning.\nThis role works towards professional to expert level certification, whilst at the same time developing business knowledge.\nKey responsibilities:\nInteracts with clients on site and remote to meet complex requirements of a solution.\nEscalates unresolved problems and issues to the relevant third parties.\nResponds to escalated client requests.\nEscalates complex problems to the relevant third parties.\nWrites reports and proposals and completes and maintains project documentation.\nAssists with the documentation of standard operating procedures relating to installations and fixes.\nActs as coach and mentor to more junior Implementation Engineers and Technicians.\nAssumes responsibility for the coordination of the activities of the junior Engineers, in line with performance targets.\nIncluded in higher complexity design work, with input to the design expected.\nExpected to take ownership of relevant technologies according to domain or specialization.\nPerforms any other related task as required.\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nRelevant proficiency in following Microsoft technologies - HPE, DELL, VMware, Veeam, CompTIA A+, Cisco UCS Servers, Brocade SAN Switches, Cisco MDS SAN switches, Nutanix concepts.\nComprehensive understanding and appreciation of technical design principles.\nSeasoned understanding of project and administration processes.\nDisplay a strong learning orientation.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nDemonstrate a client service orientation.\nHands-on proactive in approach.\nProficient in Visio, LLD and As Build document design.\nAcademic qualifications and certifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or a related field.\nRelevant certifications such as - HPE Proliant servers, 3PAR, Primera, Alletra, Simplicity, Synergy, StoreOnce, MSA Storage; Dell PowerEdge servers, Unity, PowerStore, PowerScale Isilon.
