Being part of this initiative set on a 5 years’ timeline, you will have the opportunity to work on topics such as digitalization of customs processes, streamlining customs procedures to facilitate trade and reduce costs, harmonization of customs rules across all EU member states and combating fraud.\nThis purposeful project will not only give you the opportunity to have an impact on one of the key topics within the European Union, it will also offer you various professional opportunities, let you experience a collaborative environment, using cutting-edge technologies and experiencing diversity in your everyday professional life.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nResponsible for all aspects of IT security within the framework contract.\nLead the development and execution of the overall IT security strategy.\nEnsure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information and IT systems managed by the contractor.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices and contractual obligations.\nOversee risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response planning.\nEnsure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual security requirements.\nMonitor emerging threats and implement proactive mitigation strategies.\nOversee investigations of security breaches and ensure timely resolution and reporting.\nCollaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure secure system architecture and data protection.\nProvide regular security updates and reports to senior management.\nManage and mentor a team of security professionals, fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement. \nWhat You’ll Bring Along\nBachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.\nMinimum 10 years of experience in information security.\nAn advanced degree such as a Master’s in Cybersecurity, MBA with a focus on Information Security, or equivalent.\nA professional certification in CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager).\nProven experience managing security for large-scale IT projects.\nStrong background in risk management, incident response, and regulatory compliance.\nDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex security programs.\nExperience with EU framework contracts or similar public sector environments.\nFamiliarity with standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, and GDPR.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments.\nExcellent command of both spoken and written English (any other European language would be a plus).\n\nDocument\n\nWhat’s in it for you\nNew beginnings can be a challenge.
