Provide engineering services and guidance in general on property matters affecting the on-going management and development of the Data Centers.What we are looking for\nAs the Critical Facilities Maintenance (CFM) Day Engineer - Mechanical or Electrical, you will plan, manage and implement the delivery of Facilities Maintenance services to our Data Centers ensuring operational performance is always maintained to the highest possible standards. Provide engineering services and guidance in general on property matters affecting the on-going management and development of the Data Centers.\nThe role is full time Monday to Friday based at our LON1 site in Dagenham.\nWhat you will do\nProviding a customer focused service and a high standard of planned preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure timely completion of PPM’s and reactive work to SLA’s\nAccurately recording and reporting of maintenance activities including identifying faults and accurately diagnosing root causes\nMonitoring BMS alarms and maintaining equipment performance to ensure correct operation of the critical services of the Data Centers\nAssisting with incident management and subsequent technical investigations to establish root cause\nSupporting the Shift Engineering Teams to ensure correct operation of the critical services of the Data Centers\nMaintain accurate records, including logs, reports, system documentation.\nCoordinate with third-party vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs and installations ensuring compliance with company safety standards.\nUtilization of relevant NTT data operational digital platforms \nYour profile\nExperience in facilities, operations or engineering; in a Data Centre critical environment\nWorking knowledge and understanding of engineering operations within Business-Critical Environments \nCreating and developing SOP and EOP documentation and other related/similar processes\nA good understanding of BMS/SCADA monitoring systems\nAbility to discuss and understand technical problems and resolutions with engineering specialists.\nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize\nGood analytical/ problem solving skills\nThe ability to communicate effectively at all levels with good relationship building skills\nSelf-motivated and keen to develop, with a willingness and desire to learn\nClean full driving license valid for use in the UK\nTo undergo full security checks to BS7858:2019\n\nEssential qualifications and skills\nNVQ Level 3 or equivalent (including recognized apprenticeship) with either an electrical or mechanical or building services.\nMinimum of 2-5 years trade experience. \nIntermediate level of computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. \nStrong Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including generators, switchgear, chillers, HVAC \nPreferable qualifications relevant to the role:\nExperience in a Data Centre or a related critical infrastructure industry\nLV/HV Authorised person or eagerness to obtain\nIOSH managing Safety\nLegionella awareness \nIPAF/ PASMA\nWho we are\nAs the third largest data center provider, we operate over 150 data centers in more than 20 countries and regions.
