We are currently seeking a Data Architect Lead Advisor to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Databricks Solution Architect

Role Summary

The Databricks Solution Architect will be responsible for defining and governing the end-to-end solution architecture for cloud-based data, analytics, and AI platforms. The role will lead the technical design across Databricks, AWS, Terraform, data integration, governance, and security to ensure scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions.

The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, business analysts, data engineers, and project leadership to translate business requirements into implementable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

• Define end-to-end architecture for Databricks-based solutions.
• Design scalable data platforms leveraging AWS services and Databricks Lakehouse architecture.
• Produce architecture artefacts, solution blueprints, and technical design documents.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and governance standards.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical leadership to engineering and project teams.
• Lead architecture workshops and design reviews.
• Establish best practices for data engineering, DevOps, and platform operations.
• Review and approve key technical deliverables.

Cloud and Infrastructure

• Define Infrastructure-as-Code standards using Terraform.
• Support environment strategy, networking, security, and deployment models.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery considerations are incorporated.

Governance and Security

• Define security architecture and access control models.
• Ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Establish data governance, lineage, and monitoring capabilities.

Required Experience

• 8+ years in solution or technical architecture roles.
• Experience delivering large-scale cloud data platforms.
• Strong Databricks architecture expertise.
• Strong AWS architecture experience.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, lakehouse, analytics, and AI/ML architectures.
• Experience facilitating architecture and stakeholder workshops.
