You will work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into efficient and reliable DATA centre solutions as part of our pre-sales process.\nYou will be responsible for the entire architecture, including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, power and cooling systems, and physical security measures. Your role will require evaluating and recommending DATA centre services to align with our business needs, ensuring top security and compliance standards.\nYour strategic input will be crucial as you analyse, develop, and recommend long-term plans to ensure our DATA centres meet both current and future requirements. As a trusted technical advisor, you will provide guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of collaborative solutions.\nYou will design and optimize network architectures using technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM, ensuring they perform optimally and are highly scalable and secure. From managing client proof-of-concept initiatives to producing comprehensive technical documentation and specifications, your expertise will ensure our solutions achieve client objectives effectively.\nYou will be influential in guiding members of the Sales team, ensuring they are equipped to close deals and maintain forecasting and sales pipelines. Handling scope of work determination, product pricing, and rFP/rFI responses will also be part of your remit.\nTo thrive in this role, you need to have:\nComprehensive knowledge of DATA centre infrastructure components, networking technologies, and virtualization (such as VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM).\nA good understanding of DATA centre security principles, compliance standards, and best practices.\nProficiency in designing and implementing network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and virtual networking technologies.\nExpertise in server and storage technologies such as virtualization, blade servers, SAN, NAS, and DATA backup and recovery systems.\nFamiliarity with cloud computing platforms and services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.\nExtensive experience in a professional technical role within a large-scale, preferably multinational, technology services environment.\nGood client engagement skills coupled with strong technical consulting aptitude.\nThe ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.\nA bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or information systems.\nWorkplace type:\nOn-site WorkingAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
