The role will translate approved architecture and platform standards into a secure, reliable and operationally ready environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvision and configure Microsoft Fabric workspaces, capacities and platform resources in line with approved architecture.\nImplement workspace structures, access permissions, environment configurations and naming conventions.\nConfigure OneLake shortcuts and required platform connectivity and integration settings.\nSupport Fabric tenant and workspace administration, including relevant configuration and access management.\nImplement platform monitoring, operational dashboards, alerting and health checks.\nSupport capacity utilisation monitoring, performance troubleshooting and resource optimisation.\nConfigure and validate platform settings required for development, testing, UAT and production.\nDevelop routine operational scripts and automation for platform administration and repetitive activities.\nTroubleshoot platform configuration, connectivity, permission and operational issues.\nMaintain platform runbooks, configuration records, operational procedures and support documentation.\nCollaborate with the architect, DevOps engineer, data engineers and QA engineer to support deployment and production readiness.\nRequired Skills and Experience\n5+ years of overall IT experience, including 3+ years in cloud platform engineering, data platform administration or a related technical role.\nHands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric workspace administration and platform configuration.\nUnderstanding of Fabric capacities, workspaces, OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse and shortcuts.\nExperience with access control, Microsoft Entra ID, workspace roles and permissions.\nFamiliarity with Azure services, networking, connectivity and security fundamentals.\nExperience with monitoring, logging, troubleshooting and operational support.\nWorking knowledge of PowerShell, Python or similar scripting for routine administration.\nUnderstanding of development and production environment separation and platform operational procedures.\nPreferred: Microsoft Fabric or Azure certifications and experience supporting enterprise cloud data
