The role will ensure that implemented platform, data and analytics components meet agreed functional, technical and operational acceptance criteria.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on approved requirements and solution designs.\nIndependently validate workspace access, role assignments, permissions and security controls against the agreed access matrix.\nExecute integration testing across Fabric platform components, data ingestion, transformation, semantic models and downstream consumption.\nPerform data validation, source-to-target reconciliation, completeness checks and transformation testing using SQL and other relevant tools.\nSupport UAT planning, test execution, defect triage and coordination with business stakeholders.\nValidate deployment outcomes and environment-specific configurations across development, test, UAT and production.\nTest negative scenarios, access restrictions, error handling, recovery and relevant operational controls.\nMaintain traceability between requirements, test cases, execution results and defects.\nCapture test evidence, execution logs, defect records and sign-off documentation to support production-readiness decisions.\nWork with engineering teams to investigate defects, validate fixes and perform regression testing.\nSupport release-readiness reviews and communicate residual risks or outstanding quality issues.\nRequired Skills and Experience\n5+ years of overall IT experience, including 3+ years in software testing, data testing or quality assurance.\nExperience testing cloud data platforms, ETL pipelines, data integrations or analytics solutions.\nStrong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation and backend testing.\nUnderstanding of Microsoft Fabric components, including pipelines, Lakehouse, Warehouse and Power BI.\nExperience with role-based access control, permission testing and security validation.\nExperience with integration testing, UAT coordination, defect management and regression testing.\nAbility to prepare structured test evidence, maintain traceability and support formal release sign-off.\nFamiliarity with test management tools such as Azure DevOps or similar platforms.\nStrong analytical skills, attention to detail and stakeholder communication.\nPreferred: Experience in regulated or financial services environments, audit-ready test evidence, API testing and test
