If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.\nWe are currently seeking a Data Senior Engineer to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide L1 production support for data pipelines, ETL/ELT jobs and scheduled data-processing workloads.\nMonitor production pipelines, jobs, alerts and operational dashboards.\nMonitor Apache Airflow DAGs and identify failed, delayed, stuck or missed tasks.\nPerform first-level investigation of pipeline and job failures using available logs and monitoring information.\nExecute documented operational procedures such as job restart, rerun and reprocessing.\nMonitor data loads into BigQuery and perform basic validation of successful processing.\nUse SQL queries to perform basic data validation, record-count and reconciliation checks.\nPerform initial analysis of Python/data-pipeline errors using logs and documented troubleshooting procedures.\nCreate and update incidents/tickets with relevant error details, logs and troubleshooting information.\nEscalate unresolved or complex issues to L2/L3 engineering teams with appropriate diagnostic information.\nFollow defined runbooks, SOPs, SLAs and production-support procedures.\nUpdate operational documentation and knowledge articles based on resolved issues.\nRequired Skills\n2-3 years of experience in Data Engineering, DataOps, application support or production support.\nBasic working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\nFamiliarity with Google BigQuery and basic SQL querying.\nUnderstanding of Apache Airflow, DAGs, tasks, scheduling and job execution.\nBasic working knowledge of Python, with the ability to understand scripts and interpret common errors.\nUnderstanding of ETL/ELT and data pipeline concepts.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to follow documented operational procedures and escalate issues appropriately.\nWillingness to work in a production-support environment, including shift/on-call coverage as applicable.\nAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
