The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams through the complete software delivery lifecycle-from business discovery and requirements through architecture, development, integration, testing, production deployment, and ongoing operational support.\nThe ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions while ensuring delivery commitments are met across scope, quality, budget, and timelines.\nExperience supporting RFPs, proposals, solution development, effort estimation, and client workshops is required. Knowledge of Generative AI, Agentic AI, Intelligent Automation, SaaS modernization, and cloud adoption is highly valued. Healthcare experience across payer, provider, revenue cycle management (RCM), coordination of benefits (COB), and healthcare analytics is an asset.\nKey Responsibilities\nDelivery & Program Management\nLead end-to-end delivery of software products, enhancements, modernization initiatives, and transformation programs.\nOwn project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and escalation management.\nEnsure delivery commitments are achieved within agreed scope, budget, quality standards, and timelines.\nDrive Agile delivery practices, sprint and release planning, and program governance.\nProvide executive-level status reporting, performance updates, and stakeholder communications.\nLead delivery planning and contribute to proposals, RFP responses, solutioning, and effort estimation.\nIdentify delivery risks and proactively develop mitigation and recovery plans.\nApplication Architecture & Solution Design\nDesign scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-hosted applications and AI-enabled enterprise solutions.\nDevelop architectural blueprints, technical specifications, integration designs, and solution roadmaps.\nProvide architectural governance and technical oversight across product engineering and delivery initiatives.\nEvaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, frameworks, and integration patterns.\nTranslate business and functional requirements into practical, scalable technical architectures.\nSupport cloud adoption, SaaS transformation, application modernization, and platform optimization.\nProvide technical leadership for CI/CD, DevOps, release management, and engineering best practices.\nWork across cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.\nIntegration, Testing & Production Readiness\nProvide technical leadership throughout development, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and production support.\nPartner with development and QA teams to identify and resolve integration and technical issues.\nReview test scenarios, acceptance criteria, integration points, and overall solution readiness.\nTroubleshoot complex application and integration issues and drive timely resolution.\nEnsure applications meet functional, technical, security, performance, and operational requirements.\nSupport production deployment planning, operational readiness, and client handover.\nDevelop and maintain architecture, integration, technical, and operational documentation.\nConduct technical onboarding and stakeholder training as required.\nClient & Team Leadership\nServe as a primary technical and delivery contact for clients, business stakeholders, and technology leadership.\nLead client discovery sessions, architecture workshops, solution discussions, and alignment meetings.\nBuild strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle.\nLead cross-functional teams including Developers, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, Architects, DevOps, and Support teams.\nMentor architects, engineering leads, and delivery professionals while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.\nFacilitate effective communication between business and technical teams.\nOperational Excellence & Modernization\nOversee production operations, application support, service reliability, and operational governance.\nDrive continuous improvement across delivery processes, engineering practices, and operational capabilities.\nIdentify opportunities for automation, SaaS transformation, application modernization, and cloud optimization.\nPromote scalable, reusable architecture and engineering standards across engagements.\nSupport the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI and intelligent automation.\nBasic Qualifications\n15+ years of experience in software development, technology delivery, product engineering, and/or application architecture.\n10+ years of experience managing complex software delivery projects, programs, or transformation initiatives.\n4+ years of experience as an Application Architect, Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or equivalent role designing and integrating enterprise applications.\n8+ years of experience in client engagement, stakeholder management, executive communications, and technical presentations.\n5+ years of experience managing production environments, application support, operational governance, and service reliability.\n2+ years of experience working with major cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.\nStrong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, CI/CD, DevOps, release management, SIT, UAT, and production deployment.\nDemonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical architectures, solution designs, and executable delivery plans.\nStrong project planning, risk management, governance, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nExcellent written, verbal, presentation, and client-facing communication skills.\nProven experience leading cross-functional technical teams and managing multiple stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications\n2+ years of experience or demonstrated knowledge of Generative AI, Agentic AI, Intelligent Automation, or AI-enabled enterprise solutions.\n2+ years of experience with AI services and platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, AWS AI Services, or comparable technologies.\n5+ years of experience conducting client workshops, business discovery sessions, solution workshops, and technical onboarding.\n4+ years of experience with SaaS transformation, application modernization, cloud migration, or cloud adoption initiatives.\n4+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, particularly Payer, Provider, RCM, COB, healthcare analytics, or related domains.\nExperience contributing to RFPs, proposals, estimates, statements of work, and pre-sales solutioning.\nExperience with enterprise integration patterns, APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and modern application platforms.\nPMP, ITIL, cloud, architecture, or other detailed technical architecture conversations. They should be able to own delivery, challenge technical decisions, when necessary, remove delivery obstacles, and provide practical architectural guidance throughout the engagement lifecycle.\nPay Transparency\nWhere required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $110,366-$170,390. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
