The role requires strong UKG functional expertise, production support experience, business process understanding, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business, HR, Payroll, IT, and technical teams.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring stable application operations, resolving complex functional issues, supporting business-critical workforce and payroll processes, delivering enhancements, and proactively identifying opportunities for service and process improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nTransition & Knowledge Acquisition\nParticipate actively in transition and knowledge transfer sessions with incumbent teams, business SMEs, and application owners.\n\nUnderstand the existing UKG landscape, business processes, configurations, interfaces, integrations, customizations, and dependencies.\n\nReview and validate SOPs, runbooks, knowledge articles, configuration documentation, known-error databases, and operational procedures.\n\nPerform reverse knowledge transfer and demonstrate readiness for independent application support.\n\nIdentify knowledge gaps, operational risks, dependencies, and documentation gaps during transition.\n\nSupport service readiness and transition-to-steady-state activities.\n\nSteady-State Functional Support\nProvide L2/L3 functional support for UKG Workforce Management applications.\n\nAnalyze, troubleshoot, and resolve functional incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.\n\nSupport business-critical processes related to timekeeping, scheduling, attendance, accruals, leave, and payroll.\n\nInvestigate complex production issues and collaborate with technical teams and UKG/vendor support where required.\n\nPerform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring and high-impact incidents and recommend permanent corrective actions.\n\nSupport incident, problem, change, release, and knowledge management processes.\n\nMaintain accurate ticket updates and ensure timely communication with business stakeholders.\n\nUKG Functional Expertise\nStrong hands-on experience in relevant UKG modules and capabilities, including:\nTime & Attendance / Timekeeping\n\nScheduling / Advanced Scheduling\n\nAccruals\n\nLeave and Absence Management\n\nAttendance\n\nPay Rules and Work Rules\n\nLabor Levels and Labor Tracking\n\nHoliday and Overtime Workforce Central is highly desirable.\nConfiguration & Enhancements\nAnalyze business requirements and translate them into UKG functional solutions.\n\nConfigure and maintain pay rules, work rules, accrual policies, schedules, attendance rules, and related functional components.\n\nPerform impact analysis for configuration changes and enhancements.\n\nPrepare functional specifications and configuration documentation.\n\nCoordinate with technical teams for integrations and technically dependent enhancements.\n\nSupport minor enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives through the complete change lifecycle.\n\nTesting & Release Support\nPrepare functional test scenarios and test cases.\n\nPerform functional, regression, integration, and post-deployment validation.\n\nSupport SIT and UAT and coordinate defect resolution.\n\nValidate production changes following releases and deployments.\n\nSupport UKG patches, releases, upgrades, and platform changes from a functional perspective.\n\nPayroll & Business-Critical Support\nSupport payroll-critical UKG processes, including timecard validation, approvals, pay-rule processing, accruals, and payroll interfaces.\n\nInvestigate and resolve timekeeping and payroll-impacting issues within critical timelines.\n\nCoordinate with HR, Payroll, Operations, and technical teams during business-critical processing windows.\n\nContinuous Improvement\nAnalyze incident trends and identify opportunities to reduce recurring issues.\n\nRecommend configuration, process, and operational improvements.\n\nIdentify opportunities for automation, ticket reduction, shift-left, and self-service.\n\nImprove knowledge articles, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and support documentation.\n\nContribute to service improvement plans and operational excellence initiatives.\n\nGovernance & Stakeholder Management\nParticipate in operational reviews and service governance meetings.\n\nProvide clear updates on incidents, problems, changes, risks, and enhancements.\n\nWork closely with business users, HR, Payroll, IT teams, and other application support teams.\n\nEnsure adherence to agreed SLA/KPI and service management processes.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n8+ years of relevant experience in UKG/Kronos Workforce Management.\n\nStrong functional expertise in UKG Workforce Management business processes.\n\nProven experience in enterprise production support / AMS engagements.\n\nHands-on experience in UKG configuration and troubleshooting.\n\nStrong understanding of Time & Attendance, Scheduling, Accruals, and Payroll-related processes.\n\nExperience handling P1/P2 and other business-critical production incidents.\n\nGood understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Knowledge Management.\n\nStrong analytical and root-cause analysis skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nStrong stakeholder and customer management capabilities.\n\nPreferred Skills\nUKG certification(s).\n\nExperience with UKG Pro Workforce Management / UKG Dimensions.\n\nExperience with UKG Workforce Central.\n\nExperience supporting global or large-scale UKG environments.\n\nITIL certification.\n\nExperience with ServiceNow
