United States (US).\nJob Description - Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Specialist\nDay to Day Job Duties:\n(What this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)\nMonitor customer accounts to identify overdue balances and contact customers to arrange timely payment while maintaining professional and positive client relationships.\nMaintain accurate collection records, document customer interactions, and report on collection activities and outstanding receivables.\nTake appropriate follow-up actions to encourage timely payment in accordance with contractual terms.\nProcess customer payments and refunds and ensure payments are accurately and timely applied.\nProvide remittance information to the Cash Application team and support accurate application of customer payments.\nAddress collection-related matters raised by management and support resolution of customer account issues.\nMonitor and correct data discrepancies that may affect billing quality and operational processes.\nPerform system-wide reconciliations and assurance checks to support accurate billing and collection operations.\nMonitor applicable process Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).\nIdentify potential issues that could affect billing or collection KPIs and proactively coordinate resolution.\nEscalate non-compliance or process-control concerns to management and support implementation of corrective measures.\nMaintain applicable business controls in accordance with SOX requirements and support audit-related activities.\nSupport billing-system improvements, implementations, and changes to existing billing processes as required.\nProcess physical checks received at the Plano HQ office.\nCollaborate with Tax and Payroll teams to determine appropriate General Ledger (GL) coding for checks received.\nDeposit checks into the Bank of America account using remote deposit capture technology.\nRedirect checks intended for other NTT entities to the appropriate lockbox locations.\nProvide the Cash Application team with deposit information, GL coding, digital check copies, and deposit confirmation reports.\nMaintain secure custody and filing of deposited checks and checks requiring additional coding research.\nMaintain a master Excel record of deposits and related transaction details.\nSupport Accounts Payable operations by coordinating vendor check distribution through USPS and FedEx according to established AP procedures.\nCollect vendor notices, correspondence, forms, and other documentation received through the AP mail/locker process.\nScan and route Accounts Payable documentation to the appropriate entity-level AP teams for timely processing.\nSupport invoice-processing activities, vendor inquiries, and payment-related activities.\nInitiate wire payments and tax payments in accordance with established procedures and controls.\nCollaborate with Finance, Treasury, Tax, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, vendors, customers, and other stakeholders to support timely and accurate financial operations.\nBasic Qualifications:\n(What are the skills required for this job with minimum years of experience on each)\nMinimum 3+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Accounts Payable, Billing, Finance Operations, Treasury Operations, or a related finance function.\nMinimum 3+ years of Experience working as a Collection Specialist or in a similar Accounts Receivable or collections-related role.\nMinimum 3+ years of Experience monitoring customer accounts, following up on overdue balances, and supporting collection of outstanding payments.\nMinimum 3+ years of Experience with invoice processing, vendor inquiries, and payment-processing activities.\nKnowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques.\nSolid understanding of relevant accounting principles and financial processes.\nMinimum 3+ years of Experience with payment processing, refunds, cash application, account reconciliation, and billing-related activities.\nMinimum 3+ years of Experience supporting financial controls, compliance activities, reconciliations, and audit requirements.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and experience working with financial or operational databases.\nTravel:\nNot skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong customer-service and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients and vendors.\nAbility to work
