If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.\nWe are currently seeking a General & Operational Accounting Advisor to join our team in Cyberjaya (Hybrid), Selangor (MY-10), Malaysia (MY).\nAccounting advisor\nSummary\nResponsible for fixed asset capitalization & depreciation calculation, FAR maintenance, Asset accounting, reconciliations, Audit support, CAPEX reporting and compliance with global accounting policies\nKEY responsibilities\nAsset capitalization and depreciation calculation in SAP along with monthly Capex number & asset movement reporting at global level.\nImprove, update and maintain Fixed Asset Register (FAR) with asset life as per global mandate, asset profile id, vendor name, quantity, voucher id and audit requirements.\nReconcile FAR, general ledger and trial balance on monthly basis.\nCreating a query report where operating-wise trial balance can be downloaded.\nReview direct voucher booking in SAP and capitalization of fixed assets and restrict direct voucher booking in future in SAP.\nNeed to analyses and capitalize assets for eligible labor cost and bank interest.\nNeed to maintain Sale Schedule and perform activities for asset sale/scrap disposals and calculation of profit & loss on fixed assets.\nHandle Internal and Statutory Audit queries.\nReconciling CWIP/AUC Ledger.\nReconciliation and accounting of Asset Transfers.\nRecategorization of fixed assets.\nPerforming impairment and lease asset accounting. \nKNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES\nGood communication skills (verbal and written).\nGood interpersonal skills and ability to self-manage.\nDisplay good planning and organizing abilities.\nDemonstrate good attention to detail and deadline driven.\nAble to cope with stressful situations.\nAble to deal with different individuals at various levels in the organization.\nTakes own initiative and has a solutions-orientated approach.\nMaintains a high standard of accuracy and quality.\nAbility to work independently and be a knowledge expert\nACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS\nGraduate in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field.\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE\n4-6 minimum years of experience, Accounting and MIS background, generating Invoice & Credit notes.\nCA Inter (Intermediate Chartered Accountant) preferred.\nModerate level of experience gained in similar role preferably within a similar global organization.\nModerate level of financial accounting experience.\nModerate level of experience working on financial systems / software.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nRegularly moves equipment and other hardware up to 25 lbs.\nFrequently move about inside and outside of data center / facility\nRemain stationary for long periods of time.\nAscend / Descend a ladder and perform duties atop a raised platform.\nPosition self in small spaces.\nOperate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment.\nWork conditions & other requirements\nFollow Malaysia working hours; however, occasional flexibility may be required to connect with the Team from different time zone.\nHybrid arrangement. 2 days in Cyberjaya office rest at remote location with stable internet connection.\nTravel requirement - to Singapore (once every 6 months)\nExposure to varying temperatures and loud noises.\nExposure to outdoor weather conditions.\nAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
