If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.\nWe are currently seeking a IBM Tivoli Support Engineer - REMOTE to join our team in Livonia, Michigan (US-MI), United States (US).\nIBM Tivoli Support Engineer\nRole: IBM Tivoli Support Engineer / Application Support Engineer\nSupport Level: L2/L3\nDay to Day Responsibilities:\nProvide L2/L3 production support for IBM Tivoli applications and components.\nMonitor Tivoli services, agents, servers, jobs, alerts, and system health.\nTroubleshoot Tivoli application/service failures and connectivity issues.\nPerform Tivoli service start/stop, configuration changes, agent maintenance, and health checks.\nInvestigate alerts and production incidents using application and OS logs.\nPerform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or critical incidents.\nSupport installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities.\nTroubleshoot issues across Linux/Unix servers, databases, network connectivity, filesystem, CPU, and memory.\nWrite and maintain Shell/Python scripts for monitoring, health checks, log analysis, and operational automation.\nWell versed with IBM Netcool Omnibus, different probes and integration with Tivoli monitoring\nWork with database teams for Tivoli-related database connectivity and performance issues.\nHandle incident/change/problem/service-request tickets using ITSM processes.\nMaintain SOPs, runbooks, operational documentation, and knowledge articles.\nParticipate in on-call/production support and major incident troubleshooting as required.\nCoordinate with IBM/vendor support for complex product issues.\nBasic Qualifications:\nSkill Area\nExpected Knowledge 6+ years in the below:\nIBM Tivoli\nAdministration, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting\nLinux/Unix\nStrong command-line and system troubleshooting\nShell Scripting\nBash/Korn shell scripting and automation\nPython\nBasic-to-intermediate scripting for support automation\nDatabase\nSQL fundamentals; DB connectivity and troubleshooting\nNetworking\nTCP/IP, DNS, ports, firewall and connectivity troubleshooting\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. \nNTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $87,352 - 162,875.
