However, the primary focus of work activity is predominately routine.\nThey may make policy recommendations to their managers and be an escalation point for less experienced team members.\nPerforms basic troubleshooting, parts replacement, systems upgrades, deployment and repair on desktops / notebooks/\nprinters.\nMay respond to calls after normal business hours per leader instructions.\nPerforms troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, basic deployment, and repair on desktops / notebooks/ printers.\nIdentifies potential issues that could adversely impact end user experience and takes corrective action.\nThis will be a full-time Onsite role.\nThe individual must have excellent Japanese communication skills (spoken, reading, and written).\nProficiency in English (spoken, reading, and written) will be considered an added advantage.\n\nJob Family Grade Description\nPerforms trouble-shooting parts replacement, system upgrades, advanced deployment, and repair on desktops / notebooks/ printers.\nUses advanced tools /technical knowledge to remediate client problems and conduct scheduled installations.\nProvides technical feedback on technical process issues to improve overall service delivery.\nMay act as team lead at times and coach team members.\nIdentifies potential issues that could adversely impact end user experience and take corrective action.\nMay assist with simple parts replacement and repair on desktops / notebooks/ printers.\nTravel may be required. (As per NTTD’s travel policy)\nMay respond to calls after normal business hours per leader’s instructions.\nSkills\nProficient in Windows operating system environment\nKnowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems may be required.\nStrong knowledge of Windows operating system environment.\nSolid client service skills.\nA+ desktop or equivalent skill set is required; additional certifications for various hardware platforms may be required.\nThe individual must have excellent Japanese communication skills (spoken, reading, and written).\nProficiency in English (spoken, reading, and written) will be an added advantage.\nPhysical Requirements / Working Conditions\nAbility to physically perform general office requirements. Such as the lifting / movement of assets from one location to another within the same premises or between two different premises.
