The engineer will work directly with business users, product owners and technology teams to understand operational concerns, clarify requirements and propose practical technical solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and enhance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.\n\nDesign, develop and support RESTful APIs and system integrations.\n\nEngage directly with business users and product owners to understand requirements and resolve concerns.\n\nTranslate business requirements into practical technical designs and solutions.\n\nWrite complex SQL queries for data analysis, validation and production troubleshooting.\n\nInvestigate application incidents, perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.\n\nSupport SIT, UAT, production deployment and post-release stabilization.\n\nWork in Linux/Unix environments and use shell scripts for operational and automation activities.\n\nParticipate in solution discussions, code reviews and application-modernization initiatives.\n\nCommunicate delivery progress, risks, dependencies and technical issues clearly to stakeholders.\n\nMaintain technical documentation and support knowledge-transfer activities.\n\nRequired Skills and Experience\nMinimum 3 years of hands-on Java backend development experience.\n\nStrong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.\n\nExperience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.\n\nStrong SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, aggregations and query troubleshooting.\n\nExperience with Linux/Unix and basic shell scripting.\n\nExperience in production support, incident investigation and root-cause analysis.\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Bitbucket and Jira.\n\nGood understanding of software-engineering principles, design patterns and clean coding.\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\n\nProven experience working directly with business users, product owners or other stakeholders.\n\nAbility to understand
